I'll start with the good. They were open on a Sunday, ideal for me as I work during the week and don't have time to go and post items. The downside however was a rather grotty and ugly waiting room. There were only three people in front of me (each collecting missed delivery items) yet I had to wait about 20 minutes. Far too long in my opinion.

However the really poor rating comes from the fact that I had paid for a 1st Class delivery parcel. This is meant to be "Next-day delivery aim". Something that has always happened when I post from Farringdon. However it is now several days later and the parcel has still not been sent.

It looks like their speed (and cleanliness) in this post office branch needs a serious overhaul. But at least they're open on Sunday. (oh my tracking number is 1101DCE0700 for anybody that wants to see that I have indeed been waiting way longer than the "next-day delivery aim" 1st Class is meant to do)

The sorting office staff are great as usual. However my complaint is against the new post people doing the runs during the Pandemic. Those that I have met face to face have been rude. Also they are leaving myself and the neighbors parcels many where. They do not ring the bell nor leave cards. I was at home today and when the dpd courier came he rang the bell. It just so happens that my neighbor spotted my parcel outside in communal area. The packages could have been stolen. So I will making written complaint. Other neighbors in my are complaining too. Hence the 3 rating

Awful post office. Shuts at noon on a Monday, times online are wrong. What’s the purpose of a national delivery service if they deliver items when you’re at work, and are shut on the off chance you’re off to collect it.

Post Office App is not accurate with times of delivery & insists my parcel was out for delivery for 3 days in a row from East Dulwich delivery Office and no parcel has arrived. And I'm not the only customer let down this way ?

Says it’s open on Sundays till 3pm. Here at 1:40pm and it’s shut.

one star because i couldent put 0....well where do i start ..on thurs 16th of dec i sold a iphone11 on face book for £330 to a ANGELA KURT from peckham i posted it the nxt day fri at 1-15pm,, only after posting it i noticed on the Nat west payment slip it was not looking right so i looked very closely and it was false it was a scam..i brewed for a while and decide to call Royal Mail and after about an hour waiting in the queue this is 11-30ishpm i got thru and was told in no uncertain terms to basically go away theres nothin we can do ,he then gave me a police fraud No which i phoned , another long wait about 50 mins plus chatting to officer Craig he also said he could do nothing and gave me a crime No ???..i went to bed seething at 3-00am and seethed all day..the sunday after brewing all morning i decided to phone Royal Mail again at about 3-30pm another long wait got thru to a LISA i gave her the tracking No and she found the parcel and she said there was a problem with it and was sending it back to me...i was elated and i relaxed and waited for its return,on monday evening i decided to track my parcel to my horror found it had been delivered,,i contacted ROYAL MAIL thru my email and was told sorry its against the law to stop it and send it back the girl LISA was reprimanded..i contacted my MP MEMBER IN PARLIMENT A JANE STEVENSON all to no avail she was fobbed off just l
ike i was ..i contacted the Royal Mail review panel to seek some compensation only to be told after a week sorry cant help ...i felt like i was the criminal from dec - now the 8th of feb a complete waste of time..my advise is to NOT use ROYAL MAIL...i paid £8-98 special delivery and insurance to help this crime along...i suffered a severe stroke in july 2020 and this has severly set my progress back....the head of royal mail who investigated did not even mention a crime was committed was so arrogant and tried to belittle me saying nothing could be done once posted "what a load of cobblers ",,,call the police , hold the parcel, wait for my proof,,,,i say be careful when using the mail its not foolproof... I KNOW..take care all.....the police the royal mail had 2 full days to do someting ......yet.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,nothing ....... in future ill use anyone but royal mail....

Picked up a parcel today that I missed delivery of, usually I find at these collection points staff can be a bit rude however Kelly who was working today was great. Going above and beyond checking the status of another parcels status for me and giving me a warm welcome when approaching the desk.
