They do not offer passport forms here or passport form checking.
They have always explained various methods of postage to me, how much they are, if tracking and signature is available, and how much compensation for the value of what's inside, and check what is inside the package to see whether is needs special warning sticker (for example lithium battery).
I have always been given a receipt. And you can pay by cash or card, including contacless. The card machine has always been in working order.
Stamps are available here. Travel money is available here, I exchanged some euros once (you might want to check various locations for exchange fees, there is many places in Romford if you want to research this and different options)
This post office is lovely, I'm glad it's my local.
There is post office accessories for example parcel tape /bubble wrap / envelopes / jiffy bag (these are purchased at the convenient store till, not the post office till)
There is a cash machine outside (ATM)
this post office is inside a convenient store.
I later checked my receipt / bank account / to find £110 was deposited to my account. I returned immediately upon noticing and as the Post office was closed, they asked me to return on Monday.
Monday 3rd October 2022, returned and was advised by the same cashier that the Post office had £20 extra deposited on the till.
Result / Outcome
£20 was deposited back into my account with minimal enquiries / wait time, a few minutes after returning to the Post office to address the issue
Run very well and Officially by Asian and Indian Families over the years many of the locals shop here. Pre covid open all hours but clipped well back now during the plague it is also a food shop so can remain open and does as its an essential service to all of us Pensioners ( and that includes little old me as well these days too and all! ) and the local community for several miles around. Is just up the road from Gidea Park Railway Station and on the 294 bus route in both directions.
You can do all your banking, licencing, bills paid, well, most of all that banking stuff here.
