Royal Mail Catford Delivery Office

Normal postman is an absolute star & always polite & reliable. He is a great individual who really does his job with pride.

However

Whoever is delivering the parcels needs to be sacked! The individual lies about access to properties, doesn't leave a red card; or choses to leave a red card without knocking the door to deliver the items.

This individual updates the system with falsified information and makes everyone that does a good job at royal mail, look bad due to the individuals laziness & lack of work ethic.

The customer service in the delivery office is normally good but they won't be happy tomorrow as I'll be heading there in person to complain which is a shame because it's actually not their fault.

Card posted in my door to pay a customs charge, I went to pay it and it said it had been collected at Catford two whole days before I even received the card! Went in to see what happened and they were very confused and took my number asking me to wait until some member of staff came back in on Friday... and a week later they never ever called me back. £50 in the bin. I am following up with Royal Mail complaints department but just waited 45 mins on the phone to do so.

48h tracked mail scheduled to be delivered today, Catford DO emails me at 12:45pm (after their office closing time) to inform me that they have received instructions to retain my parcel until Monday.
I have not requested that, so I assume the drivers have the power to interfere with the deliveries as they like. They didn't even apologies in the email, as if I asked them not to deliver today. What a joke.

Royal mail is sending my mail back to the sender because they said my address is correct. EBay have said my address is correct as other parcels and mail is being delivered.

The best place to go to drop your returns. Happy staff

Useless people, how can you close 12:00 on Monday? Then I went back on Tuesday at 12:00 but still closed with none NOTES waited about 10 minutes but nothing there although opening time 8:00 ——— 16:00

In terms of the collection service in the delivery office, well this really depends on who serves you. The man with the glasses is helpful and courteous. Thank you. The taller guy with the longer hair is the most miserable, rude and unhelpful person you could meet. He might be stressed but no need to take it out on the customers.My most recent experience is travelling there with my two collection cards only for him to say no its being redelivered. When I asked a question he bit my head off. However, this is nothing new from him as he was like this the last two times I visited, which was months ago.

Hate the deliveries! Never ever delivers! Home waiting 3 different delivery time slots past 2 weeks - no one ever rings the doorbell or leave the red card! Ridiculous!
