Northumberland Heath Post Office

Old-fashioned post office, with toys and trinkets and fun! Friendly too, if you smile at them and enjoy this wonderful traditional space. Most urban ad suburban post offices are these soulless stark fluorescent-lit waiting room with just wrapping paper. This is a welcome example of a friendly accessible local post office as it should be,

A good little post office, has kids toys, stationary, birthday cards and other cards, also has a small sweet selection. However, they are only opened office hours, so bit unhelpful for those who work. You can get foreign currency, travel insure, vehicle tax and all the other normal post office stuff. Have an ATM outside – 24 hour use.

Usually very good, Tuesday 31.12.19. Online said they are open, hours 8.30am to 5.30pm. Went there at 3.30pm. Shutters down locked up, waster of time.
Not happy.

Normally good until I went to counter today paid for some stamps ect after payment was told next time you need to wear a mask in here. Not the best way especially that you was happy to take my money first before informing me of mask situation and that the lady dosent know I'm exempt from wearing a mask due to health problems that make me exempt. This has made me feel very uncomfortable using this post office again without a mask.Please do not make judgements on face value and if you are that concerned about mask please do not take my money first then make your customer feel very uncomfortable.

I went twice to print a file out, and I still need to print it... First time I was told that they cannot print from USB key but only from email. So I had to come back home and send it via email. I came back there and the file they printed had the text messed up (basically bc they use an iPad to print files, so if you add any text with Adobe forget to get your print done...). I asked if they could use a computer instead of an iPad to print and I was answered that it was not possible...A lot of time and effort wasted!

Lovely staff, excellent service. Always happy to help and take the utmost care with anxious customers. My mother has sight problems and I always recommend this post office due to the superb staff

I was verbally abused by a lady at the post office while posting a letter. Serious attitude problem, only wanted to post a letter and she went crazy because she didn't give me a chance to ask for the postage reciept! If you dont like your job - quit. Dont make others unhappy.

Some of the staff can be quite pleasant , others can be downright rude
