Nice staff, but unfortunately, completely inept. Even though the Post Office is only round the corner from me, my confidence in their service is so low, that I'm now going to have to drive 6 miles to use the next nearest Post Office. Mistakes include not giving me proof of purchase even after I've requested it, not providing me with a tracking number after I've paid for that particular service and today charging me international delivery for an item within the UK (I even drove to Rugeley Post Office to double check with them that a mistake had indeed been made & they had to write down clear instructions on the receipt so Hixon could rectify the problem; all in all, the whole saga took almost an hour out of my working day, all just to post a 2nd Class large letter). Having to constantly point out mistakes or get refunds is embarrassing and time consuming, both for myself, the staff and the rest of the people waiting in the queue. I accept people can make mistakes, but the staff either don't know how to do their job or haven't been given adequate training.

This is such an excellent little post office. They ALWAYS try to help you and are friendly and efficient..also they have super opening hours.

Twice now I’ve been turned away while trying to post a parcel. This time it was because the parcel bag was ‘full’ and it was ‘against rules and regulations’ to add my very small parcel to the bag. Worst Post Office in Staffordshire?
