Very unpleasant service after opening again. I do not recommend.

Edit: oh yes I know exactly what post office I mean. You open again convenience shop together with post office. Please accept the review instead of trying to deny it. I went few times but the service was just awful and not helpful at all every single time. I actually work quite close with royal mail so I know when people try to rip me off for their own benefit (money). I know quite few people who share my opinion. Looking at you reply I guess you're one of this 'amazing' staff working there.
I moved my business to spar shop at 300 rosliston road and they are brilliant! Also post office is open till 21:30 everyday if anyone looking for long opening hours. The best post office in Burton, honest, helpful people with no hidden agenda.

I came into the post office today for the first time in a year or so as it was closed before whilst it was finding new owners, I was really impressed with the helpful and polite staff whilst dping my posting . But the best part was seeing a cafe within the the shop it looks great the lady who served me my tea and cake was very friendly and made to feel welcome the layout of the cafe has a proper rustic charm with a juke box and quoates . Done a great job with tye place and I will return for a cuppa and cake in the near future :)

Just went to post a letter but decided we would stop for coffee and cake in the new cafe.
Very reasonable prices, clean and comfortable, friendly service and the biggest Muffins I have ever seen.

Having frequented numerous cafes and tearooms over the summer in both Staffordshire and Derbyshire I can honestly say this is the best value for money we have come across without any scrimping on quality.

Surely the most helpful and efficient Post Office around. The staff are personable and knowledgeable all in all a hark back to when Retailers put the customer first.
An extremely rare and enjoyable shopping experience!
Thank you.

Shocking, since being taken over it’s like a lottery when it’s open or not! Unreliable to say the least.

I have been using this Post Office now since it has reopened with new owners and I have found everybody to friendly efficent and very helpful. When Parcel force 'lost a next day parcel the post master even tried to get in touch with Parcel Force himeself to sort out the problem. So always helpful always safe during corona and always very efficient. Would highly recommend this Post office

It is such a shame, that after the village won to keep the post office open, the owners over time, have become bored and disinterested in the post office side of the business.
This is evident by the lack of interaction and general manners of the owners, who see customers as more of an inconvenience, unless you are elderly and use the coffee shop.
I now use the post office in Rosliston road, where you get service with a smile.
If I could put 0 stars I would.

Honestly the guy who is usually behind the shop counter is a perpetually bored, unfriendly and miserable sod who needs to learn basic customer service skills, as well as how to smile. You would have thought he suffers from some awful gastronomical cramps by observing his sour expression.
