I'm so disappointed in the lack of friendliness and helpfulness shown in our Post Office.
I was served by Gaynor today who must have recently taken a course in customer DIS-satisfaction.
When I asked her a simple, polite and relevant question all I got was a shrug of her shoulders. No verbal reply , no information, just a shrug.
It's just not good enough nowadays.

I regularly use the Nantwich post office and always find it quick and easy, sometimes there is a small queue but that can't be helped. If I can help it I try to get Gaynor or Sue to serve me as they are both wonderful at their job and very helpful!

Rude and obnoxious staff the worst post office ive ever been in, very unhelpful and miserable. A parcel was delivered there instead of next door, even though i had ID they refussed to hand it to me and said they would take to next door later before closing! I told the women it was ridiculous and asked to speak to the manager who was just as unhelpful, the women smerked at me and seems very happy with her miserable self! I went next door and they got it from them and gave to me without any problem.

The great thing about Nantwich post office is you have always been able to take our dogs in. I visited yesterday to be told the new management are not allowing dogs any more. As a regular user of their service, this causes much inconvenience. I'm sure this will be the same for many other customers, we are able to bring our dog into town. A huge percentage of shops let us bring our dogs in, because of the dog theft we are experiencing recently. So I won't be using Nantwich post office any more. I'm sure there will be a lot of other very disgruntled customers also.

Male staff were unhelpful and abrupt. Female staff much more helpful and polite. Staff seemed reluctant to serve customers in the 30 minutes before closing time and seemed intent on shutting up shop rather than ensuring all customers were dealt with.

Very poor service.

Such a shame, as it's a rare treat now to enjoy a Post Office in its historic "proper" building and not just an afterthought in another shop.

However, the atmosphere is somehow unwelcoming. I was astounded when I asked to use the Post Restante service that they don't provide this. Bearing in mind this is a canal town, it is gobsmacking that they fail on this valuable provision. But they are just not interested.

They also failed spectacularly on disability awareness, which resulted in a complaint to their head office. To be fair, the response was much better on the next visit.

But this just goes to show that they do not put their customers first.

Visited today for a few items of stationary and all I found was greetings cards and more cards. You used to buy items in there that you could not find anywhere else out of the ordinary / special items. The staff are friendly and very helpful and that's about it, the shop part of the post office is a complete waste of time unless you want a greeting card
