The Shires Post Office

The post office is really slow and normally only has one or two people working on the post office side not to say that the staff are bad they are actually quite friendly and do make the experience somewhat okay. However. the shopping side for snacks is really expensive I wouldn’t recommend buying drinks or snacks from this post office as you could actually get snacks cheaper from somewhere else in the area.

Absolutely pointless post office run by bunch of unhelpful and untrustworthy little creatures with no manners, no English & no experience.

The man who run this post office gave me a false information regarding using bank card. Starling is widely accepted, but he stated No, you cannot use it in an awful attitude. I will not leave it as that, but I shall forward a formal complaint to the head office on Monday.

Absolutely rubbish service.
I was there twice with my cousin before 12pm to collect his brp card and both days we were told to come back another day as there wasn't enough staff to serve. They didn't want to understand that we have spent over £200 on travel. Absolutely joke. This will be reported to royal mail that's for sure

Awful management, shop is constantly over crowded and the systems in place are just useless. Can easily end up waiting 30+ minutes just to post something, god forbid they have more than 2 people serving at one time.
No doubt he will reply and say its my fault like he did in the last few reviews people posted. Just shows how bad and incompetent of a manager he is.

Crowded and no Clear customer queue management, staff are quick rude.

Timing are miss guiding, its mentioned as open till 5:30 and the staff don't allow customers after 5 and stops the store operations and rudely asks to leave the store and visit Tommorow.

Unethical and irresponsible behavior.

I wonder how a post office is setup in a commercial shopping mall witch such an bad management.

17 November i done my renewal of my driving licence with digital service at post office which there do everything and send it it but its been nearly four weeks still not received my driving licence still waiting dont know what's going on

Oh my goodness what has happened to the Shires post office, the staff are always friendly and cheerful but my last visit today !!! 2 members of staff to run the whole of the post office, one member of staff in the post office and one in the shop, how they stay so positive is beyond me there must have been 25 people in the shop with as i say just 2 people to look after everyone , i saw at least 6 people leave having got fed up of waiting this really cannot be good for business, i only hope they are extremely well paid because they certainly deserve it, come on new owners get more staff and bring this post office back to the wonderful business it used to be .

We have been using the post office for years, but recently whenever we try and use it… We are waiting 30 minutes sometimes closer to 50 minutes just to change some cash… It’s ridicules. The people that work there are lovely but they seem really understaffed and stressed 24/7.
