Banstead Post Office

Terrible rude and unhelpful!
I like many people have still worked throughout the COVID pandemic and find it extremely difficult to return items
First visit - left work early to try and get before closing at 5pm, they were closed by the time I got there at 4.30pm
Second visit - next morning, first in the queue at 8.50 told Accusingly “not open until 9am” which I am fully aware of! I was then met with a lady with a
“no can do” attitude, she asked me how she’s supposed to return the Asos parcel with no returns note, went back to Asos and they said she should print it.
Third visit - I now have two items
1st item she said code too small wouldn’t or couldn’t take the item l
2nd item she seemed impatient as would t scan and she attempted to give me this back as well. Finally managed to scan and print a label, told me I should hurry as they were closing in five mins (5pm). As soon as she took the item... shutters came down (4.50pm)
This is in a Tesco local and while purchasing veg she stood at the door telling the security guard that she doesn’t want to see another face!!
So rude, I will be making a formal complaint as I now have to visit for the fourth time and I shall refuse to deal with this person with the short blonde hair

Rude unhelpful staff. Went to send a cash urgent payment to needy person and before I could start completing form I was told 'system is down' for moneygram. As paying cash she said ...".you are bringing disease to me"...! Please do not abuse the Covid situation and use it to be rude to customers. I am a medical person and when I challenged her behaviour she then said I was being rude ! Does not value her job

Most of the staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately there is one lady who isn’t nice at all, is very abrupt and rude to customers as though she thinks she’s better than them. She’s not - you just work in a post office love!

Rude staff member . I was told nothing could be done about it as they had been there for over 20 years . Very rude.I don't know how that person gets away with speaking to people like that . Reduced me to tears this morning. Very vile person

1 Consistantly rude staff member. I very rarely go to this branch due to the way i get spoken to. Post office helpline recommended 1 service. So as i was passing i popped into Banstead and asked for this service, she as per the norm, was rude, obstructive and down right condescending. She deliberatly phrases things to get an answer she can be rude to you about as if your stupid. So I left with my letter. Went straight to Chipstead post office, mentioned what i had been told, no problem. Chipstead so much nicer, friendlier and helpful than Banstead. I will not be going back to Banstead Post Office even if passing. What does her behaviour say about herself?

The parcel should be sent in two or 3 days which i was told on phone of post office.. Today is fifth working day but still no move. Now i m going to Banstead office from London to pick up my parcel.

Was closed at least an hour before closing time last week on a couple of occasions. Went today to pay in a cheque and the lady wouldn't accept it stated the card was a cash card when it is clearly printed on it deposit card. Very frustrating as this is the same card/branch that i always pay cheques into.
