Absolutely amazing staff. They go above and beyond to help. I must say having read the notice in the Post Office I am not happy they are being asked to work on a day that should show respect for our Queen. If the boss feels he needs to open,I feel it should be at least after the funeral. We all have a right to show our respects. So lucky he has great staff.

First time visiting some weeks ago, the staff who served me was so helpful, reduced my postage cost by helping me repackage my item. He was patient with me and pleasant throughout the process. Excellent service received, i highly recommend them.

My husband died recently, I am finding it difficult to sort all the affairs. I phoned DVLA who were less than empathic and even hung up on me. The Post Master at Ashton was a breath of fresh air. He was so kind and considerate and made sure my car was taxed, filling in some of the paper work. God Bless you, we need more consideration at these difficult times.

The Staff at this P.O. are always very courteous, helpful and cheerful. Also very knowledgeable.
The place itself always looks clean and tidy with well stocked shelves. You can also buy a nice selection of gifts here tasteful and of a very good quality. Stationery products of all kinds available and Printing service in store. Plus passport and photographic service available. Amazon pick up point in situ. Inc Amazon labelless returns when you present a barcode. and they even sell some basic grocery items such as tea, biscuits, coffee, sweets and chocolate etc. In fact this P.O. has all you'd hope to see in a P.O. plus lots more.
The P.O. is in an excellent position with a cash machine outside and a postbox.Bus stop right outside (with shelter and seats) for travel into Preston City Centre and all bus stops in between on the Stagecoach number 68 bus and also the more local Preston Bus which takes a different route to that of the Stagecoach bus. It will take you to the City centre also but on its way stops at Morrisons and B and M and also calls in at the park and ride scheme. Preston bus number 100. About every 10 mins weekdays. And the Stagecoach about every 20 mins weekdays. Check timetables though as they may well change. Bus stop just a few yards along on the opposite side of road services route out of Preston and on to Lytham,St Anne's and Blackpool and villages / towns in between. Just a few short steps along from the P.O. is a safe crossing ,push button wait and stop signals.
Finally great to use this branch as very easily accessible and saves going into City Centre . There is a small space for parking cars outside.

Great service, efficient communication, I am extremely grateful for the fantastic service I received from Blackpool Road Post Office, . I would particularly like to mention Imran who has been working in this branch for a very long time, he is very polite and always has a pleasant smile on his face. when I had to review my licence, He made the whole experience as less stressful as possible, it’s so nice to know that good people still exist. Thank you so much Imran for everything!!

Went in to send a parcel first class, the guy kept me talking until it was time to make the card payment, I was charged double what i normally pay because the guy behind the counter charged me guaranteed next day delivery without asking me! When challenged he said “I can change it”
Always check before you pay!

came in on Thursday and they told me they were to busy to help me
So I returned on Saturday to be told they could help me but for a higher fee
£14 more than another post office
So to save a trip into town for some reason I said ok
He made me que 3 times after walking away while serving me to serve other people
And because they couldn’t help on Thursday it would cost more to deliver but that’s, that’s
It was his Attitude towards me
On the plus side

The lady was lovely tho
And this post office has always been great

Went to post a letter I stated I wanted 1st class to be signed for, however the guy tried to charge me for 1st tracked, I told him no I wanted the 1st signed for option. He grumbled and charged me the correct amount.

However the letter hasn't arrived at its intended destination, I suspect fowl play here.
