Post box - Royal Mail (Holy Cross Church)

The Royal Mail post box in Sarratt is in the wall of the farthest almshouse down the cul-de-sac off Church Lane, next to The Church of the Holy Cross. The cul-de-sac is supposedly a private road for cottage residents and church users only. I'm sure access is also allowed for use of the Royal Mail post box. Something has to give!
It's recommended you park near the churchyard wall if accessing either the post box or the church. With much reduced church attendance, I expect hardly anyone knows this old post box exits, hiding down there.
It's a Victoriain box, so at least 120 years old and the letter slot has a hinged flap, which is not a feature incorporated anymore.

Excellent post box owned by my dad, at least on Google business. Not sure how he did that but I'm hopeful to receive it as part of my inheritance 😂
