Charlton Post Office

I have been going there for a few years because is close to me. The blond lady working there is very unprofessional. What annoys me the most is that they open and close as they please. Customer service is definitely not their strongest skill, and is unfair the way they are treating people and getting away with it. If you ask about any info related to their job, they answer the bare minimum and make you feel unwelcome. Now I understand this is a difficult time for everyone, however this is not an excuse to be horrible to people and they been doing it for YEARS. Not helpful at all.

It depends on who serves you but the customer service can be non-existent at times. Also, their postage advice is driven purely by profit. They always present the most expensive methods and no other options unless you know your postage costs and challenge them. Go to the post office in East Greenwich and the contrast is huge. They are always helpful and they make sure the postage you pay is the most suitable value for money option rather than the most expensive!

The only post office in charlton, has all postal service available domestic, national and international

i have used this to courier documents to india, and found it very easy.

The shop also sells different size of envelops and accessories to help with your packaging.

The queues can be big though on busy hours.

The most horrible experience while trying to deposit money into my bank account, calling me a liar and dropping my money on the floor, never go there, do NOT recommend

Go somewhere else as the man there is totally rude and they don’t allow dogs even if the don’t sell food. This is 2022 wake up or loose customers

I do not use this post office anymore as the customer service is so bad, especially from the lady named terry. I use shooters hill road post office now instead the service is much better. Would have left 0 stars if I could

Never open. Most post officers are open 9am to 5.30pm. This one opens when it wants. People need this to be open more than ever now.

Update. Almost got charged for a iPhone which I returned at this post office which got stolen they like to ask what’s in packages, which is none of their business,

Also Lost £165 Thanks to a missing package which I posted here. I think I’ve learnt now don’t use this place.

Disgrace!!!

Disgusting service especially the young girl who works on the counter. Rude and unhelpful. I’ve had a few arguments before with her you would think she would learn but she got worse. Either she needs to be retrained or let go is my opinion.... The attitude and they way she spoke to me was unprofessional.
The manager should look into this promptly.
