Looks like I'm not the only one with an issue with the horrible woman who works there judging by the several complaints below of the same woman. Horrific customer service by the white older woman (brown/blonde hair) with glasses. She is aggressive, clearly bullies customers and seems to be a very angry unhappy woman. She decided to start a completely unprovoked argument because she thought my tone wasn't polite? I had no attitude whatsoever and was just trying to post some mail. I explained she clearly misunderstood but then she then proceeded to have a go at me because she felt I could have given a response to her question in a more friendly tone? Horrific start to the day. She's very scary and aggressive and I'm amazed she is still allowed to work there. The gentleman who works there is otherwise very polite.

Incompetent staff. Overcharged me for a postal service I didn’t ask for, she then challenged me saying that’s what I requested. When I asked for them to reverse it she made me queue up again just to deny me a refund because I paid by card :)

Staff always very rude. Several times have closed a till when it's my turn to be served.. because i have a brown face?
Had a minor disagreement about sellotape where they would not give me a strip and rudly told me to buy it 3 times. Got sellotape from elsewhere went back to post the item and it mysteriously was never delivered. Raised a complaint to the post office. Never using them again. Theres an alternative opposite furzefuld leisure centre.

Staff were not very helpful. I filled in a redirection form gave them my ID Driving licence and a copy of my bill of my old address on payed the redirection fee service and they lost my Form. Asked them for another form and they said that I would have to pay again.

Very rude lady behind counter couldn’t remember PIN number ,spoke out pin declined so everybody could hear, I run a very successful business, I wouldn’t employ this woman to clean my toilets, Post Office you need to assess your staff, or send them on a customer service course. Very Very poor.

The longest queues with the rudest most incompetent staff. After trying to post a letter to the United States, it was weighed and posted by the woman behind the counter. A month later it was returned for not having enough postage. After going into complain, the woman implied that I was lying about posting anything from that Post office and demanded I show the receipt. Obviously I was upset at the situation and the accusations, to add to the insult she refused to serve me. I would definitely recommend you go to a more professional post office than the one in Potters Bar.

I would give zero stars if I could. There is a very polite young man that works here who is always very helpful however the women are outrageously rude. I feel as though I am doing something offensive and inconveniencing the staff every time I drop off a parcel. I just walked 20 minutes carrying my parcels, only to be barked at by a woman and told they are closing for an hour because they need a break and have been there since the morning. I understand that everyone needs to take a lunch break, however, there's no need to be so rude. I was attempting to drop off parcels during my own lunch break. I will have to go back tomorrow during my working hours to ensure they are actually open. Perhaps a lunch rota system might alleviate some pressure, as they are clearly extremely stressed working here in the post office.
