Friendly staff and long opening hours for a Post office counter (open most of the time the shop is open)...
Can do most things here that you can in a larger, official, Post Office!

This is a suggestion for the female staff to get some basic customer service to do her job rather than a review.
I come to this post office often since my kids' school are nearby
There is a mid age female staff(not the senior lady, she is fine but I guess she left since i haven't seen her after 2020) who always gives the poker face like she never learned anything about customer service!
Evidences towards her lack of basic skills to her job:
1.Every time, she doesn't ask what is in the parcel no matter what I post.
2. She speaks with the male customers in a friendly way, but when comes to speaking with ladies, she would rather be silent and acting very rude. If you can not be nice to female customers, be normal, no need to be rude! do your job

An awful place, where the guy with the beard and glasses and the woman with the feelingless face are lacking even the basic customer service. They make feel people uncomfortable, the beard guy is huffing and puffing, unreal how the post office employs such rude individuals. Avoid like plague this place. Go to Old Dean where the ladies are full of smile and so friendly.

I had this Saturday morning, and have always had good service at the small post office counter. I only use it for sending parcels. Any other services I cannot comment about

The gentleman was very vocal about “people buying what they don’t need,” and “needing to be more sure of what they buy,” as his complaint towards his customers’ returns. He boasted that he “had bought 3 things [so far for Xmas] that did not need returning.” I was returning items for a disabled family member who struggles to buy items that fit. More empathy for his customers required for more stars.
