Main Road Post Office

I have never met a more dismissive, rude and incompetent staff member at a Post Office counter before. This woman is also completely disregarding the correct way to issue Certificates of Posting. Instead of giving me proper and full certificates for 3 prepaid signed for items, she instead just scanned the barcodes and gave me the slip.She didn't even check the postage amounts were correct I asked her why no weight, postcode details and postage amounts were entered for each and was told impolitely that this was the was the way she was now doing them. I asked if this was her policy decision and there was silence. I said I needed the certificates to be full and complete in case I had to make a claim. Again silence. She pushed the items back to me with 3 more barcodes to put over the ones she had scanned. I was told not to bring this type of item again. What a service or non-service! Completely indifferent and with a slap dash approach, she is clearly the owner of this shop come Post office. Post office Counters are paying her to provide a service which she is not supplying to the Public. Methinks Post Office Counters need to be advised. I am amazed that anyone even buys from this corner shop given her attitude. Refilling the shelves is probably beyond her!
If she is not prepared to offer a full and correct Postal Service to the public then a new location for this Post Office needs to be found. It is sad the old location just down the road had to close. The local population got a far friendlier and helpful service!

This Post Office is closed on Sundays unlike it says on google opening times. Most staff are friendly and helpful

I go to this post office very regularly as I find the staff very pleasant and helpful, the lady is particularly friendly and asks about my travels often.

Great shop lovely staff too but the listing for postoffice opening times is incorrect on the website which is very annoying! Please sort this issue out!
