Marshalswick Post Office

Great staff but almost always busy. If you're a regular sign up for Drop & Go. Takes the stress out of queuing.

The team here do extremely well despite the fairly cramped conditions. Avoid peak times and you won't have to queue at all.

If you do have to queue, try not to stand there verbally expressing your disapproval if someone before you has a complex transaction, just wait politely. The Post Office in its entirety, this little branch and the hard working staff in it are not here solely for YOUR convenience and in the grand scheme of things, you are no more nor less important than anyone else in the queue. Be patient.

Very good post office considering the crazy queues; they offer a lot of services here including passport check and send and foreign currency exchange. Friendly staff make sending parcels etc... much easier.

Note: you can't receive Amazon local collect after 5:30 despite Amazon's website saying differently.

Its okay but is very slow before pandemic not used since. Its easy for parking though and the shop is good for magazines

May 2022. This used to be a decent Post Office, however it is now shut at random times and has become unreliable. Today i queued for 15 minutes to be told it would shut for lunch after they had finished serving the customer in front of me. Pretty useless. If you are sending a parcel it is better and quicker to use the hermes drop off next door.

Heavy heart leaves a 1* review; this should be part of the local community, but it is so rarely open it has become utterly useless. Today closed until midday. Previous occasions has been unstaffed in early evening (should be open till 8pm).

Very unreliable these days. I never know when it's actually going to be open so that I can send packages which are pre paid and need to be posted by a certain date. I've visited for the past three days at various times only to find it's closed. The staff are very unhelpful and unsympathetic about this. Even the staff at the front of the shop are of no help and can come across as rude.

Shocked by the rude and aggressive behavior of the person at the counter. Needed to return a parcel from an online delivery consisting of two separately packed items. Been treated with absolute contempt for no reason and refused to take the parcel because apparently needed two return labels even though instructions by the selling company clearly stated its one return (were even written for the post office, but he refused to read that). Appalling experience!!!
