Thames Street Post Office

I would highly recommend this post office. They were fantastic with the opening times during lockdown as I’m sure they will again this time around unlike a lot of other offices.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite and I always use this post office even though it is not my local because of the great customer service.

Frequently grumpy service both at shop counter and Post Office. Have overheard them chatting nicely with people they recognise but strangers aren't welcome. Shame. Local shops should be pleasant places to visit whoever you are

During first lockdown Debbie and Jackie worked incredibly hard . I think it was only the post office opened in area even on Sundays .cannot praise them enough . It was such a friendly customer service .always a pleasure to pop in .
Then new management. God forbid . Nothing positive . They are trying to overcharge for any postage . Will go to different branch and I always pay less .Especially elderly lady has very abrupt manners always looking at her phone , eye contact down just in case so she does not serve customers and so I have learnt to wait patiently or go to Debbie or Jackie if they in . I rather wait for them rather to be overcharged .As she insisted that my package was to high ( around 1 cm ) Shame no realisation that it was small and so much space leftover around .I still go there if need to but always watch what Im being charged with . No more joyful experience

I had a few parcels to post. Realised that the post office has a new management in charge.I was attended to by Sukh.He was extremely lovely, very helpful, professional and extremely patient. Thank you Sukh and Debbie for all your help. Keep up the great job.God bless 🙏

Queuing system is unorganised and man at the counter came across as extremely rude. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Unfortunately terrible experience. Last year we sent a new iPhone back to Apple. A lady asked us if it already had a label told us to put it at the end where the parcels were. Gave us no paperwork and we had to pay out £1,300 to Apple claiming they never received it. We were so devastated as you can imagine in an already tough year financially. Had no help right retrieving it. We were told they’d look through CCTV but never got back to us. Very sad experience, no holiday for our little one!

poor customer service
Lady at till was rude. Tried to pursuade me to send my item by special delivery when it wasn't necessary. When I refused and insisted on sending the item by recorded deliver, she was unhappy and said to me you will lose your item. I have never heard of items being lost in recorded delivery or even normal delivery. She was pushy trying to convince me to pay more unnecessarily and had poor customer service no thank you or please and did not answer my questions, just telling me forcefully to pay for special delivery. I will go Sunbury cross branch next time

Twice to go in and get little lottery winning. 1st time would not pay as required id, eventhough its for over 500. 2nd time wont pay as the shop person was not there. If you dont want to pay then dont pay and stop making excuses.
