Kennington Post Office

If I could leave a zero star rating I would do that for this place, but that doesn't count...
Slow and arrogant staff, not helpful at all, doesn't let you know the choices you may want to chose when you're sending a parcel (e.g. for valuable parcels, I didn't know I could use a different service), then the signed for parcel ended up in a totally different city because it was sorted out wrongly at the post office. Another time I paid for 1st class then the mail arrived 4(!) days later. I don't use this post office many times but I always get in trouble with them, in other places the things usually go fine, but here never. Not recommended at all.

The most impolite woman ever!!!!!! There are two women the oldest is really nice and polite but the youngest is incredible impolite.

I dread having to use this place. Always miserable, little or no eye contact and honestly it feels like they would much prefer to have zero customers and just sit being miserable all day. I’m annoyed at myself for even trying to be polite and make idle chat because of the rudeness I received back.

Going forward I will try my hardest to not use this location.

Great service, I cannot complain. Every time I come to the post office, I am served professionally and with respect. I have been using this place for years and I never had a bad experience. It is not a major post office but it provides all the postal service I have ever needed. It is worth mentioning that they don't keep some DVLA forms. It is better to call them to inquire before turning up.

Some of these reviews are way out of date. The service is superb and staff always very helpful - even in these difficult times.

I agree with the other 1 star reviews. Terrible customer interaction. It's like day and night with the person behind the counter. If you're not a regular, you get the cold shoulder treatment. I will use Hermes and drop off at the Co op from now on

Handy little Post Office - do rolls of bubble wrap and packaging, which is a massive help when looking for a shop that sells these in Oxford area.

Asked what I was looking for when I came in so seem fairly friendly.

The one suggestion is that they don't have a bike rack outside (nor one on this row of shops). Bike shelter would be even better.

Oh, and they sell snacks, wrapping paper, and greeting cards. Needless to say: they also take large post.

Overall a neat little shop.
