Hanger Lane Post Office

Bad service received today:
-Said they couldn’t read my QR code to deliver my parcel and said that I had to go to a “Royal Mail delivery office” – I asked the server to explain and he told me I would have to Google it.
-I wasted time going to the nearest “Royal mail delivery office” according to Google (in Acton) and the server there was unable to help as advised.
-I returned again to Hanger Lane P.O. a few hours later when I was able to take another break from work and was told that my new code did not work either and it turned out that what I’d been told earlier was incorrect re why they had not been able to help me there – hence trip to Acton and subsequent calls to another post office and Royal Mail customer services had been a waste of time.
-During the time I was trying to get this sorted with the server, obviously stressed, he left me to serve 3-4 customers buying things from the store and then after I complained he also left me to serve another post office customer. The other server would not help me either, despite my request, and went to serving more store customers.
-THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE (tried numerous times today).

Unfortunately they didn't take my royal mail return parcel because they said it's too big (untrue) and they sent me to greenford depot who refused service and told me to go back to post office snd that they need to take the parcel. I called park royal to see if they would accept and they refused rudely over the phone. Ultimately I went to horn lane who did their job correctly and took on the parcel.

All of the above headache could have been avoided if hanger lane just took the royal mail return parcel in the first place, it had a QR code and everything.. very disappointed.

Don't take Royal mail parcels there. They don't always accept them. Turned down twice because they said there wasn't enough space in their shop for the parcel

Post office ran out of D1 forms and just had delivery. Suram kindly opened one of the boxes in the back - I’m pleased to say i can now change my license address because of him

No idea why they have a phone line. It’s never once been picked up regardless what time of day you call or how long it rings for.

It is not possible for a postal employee not to know what "enclose a s.a.e" means.

very rude. they didn't want to accept a parcel from royal mail and when I asked them why... they said they didn't want to

Very rude staff, they don’t help customers and they really talk in a selfish and bad way as they don’t care about customers and the shop itself.
I’am living just beside this post office and when I need anything I go to Ealing Broadway just because I don’t want to see the staff faces again🙂
