Prince Of Wales Road Post Office

The lady behind the counter was the most unhelpful person I have ever encountered.

Very rude lady behind the counter:
- she asked me what was in the parcel with a tone that made me feel I was a criminal,
- I didn’t know that I had to write the address on the parcel (they print it for you in France and put in on the parcel): so she shout at me « How do you want that I send that! ». Well I thought it was working like in France, I am allowed to do a mistake without having to be blamed,
- To finish, I was queuing while my partner was finishing to write the address on the parcel. When she joined me, she shouted to us and asked us to come back at the end of the queue. Even if, later, she apologised for that, I had more than enough => I decided to go to another post office.

I won’t come back again in this post office.

Quite unpleasant experience at the post office today. A man behind the counter was a bit rough with his dealing .. I am okay as I choose not to be offended...

The post office closed at 5:30, I showed up at 5, and the miserable old cow behind the counter told me that she wasn't going to help me and to go somewhere else because she had other, more important things to do. Unbelievable.

Went in today to collect a parcel for my wife. We had an email to say it was delivered the day before. The stern lady behind the counter checked and said it was not there and that it may have been sent to the main sorting office several miles away. After eventually managing to persuade her to check behind the grocery counter, where it had been left before on a Sunday , guess what, my parcel was there !!!. After she had advised me that it wouldn't have been delivered on a Sunday. Awful customer service.

A godsend for the area especially as my two local banks decided they no longer want to serve the public. Always friendly and helpful to me! You just have to hope you don't get stuck behind the muppet with 20 recorded deliveries to send as there is just the single counter.

Awful service at the post office. Served by a lady that clearly hates her job and hates the public. Such a shame. Avoid at all costs and get your post re-directed to another post office.

This post office is a small corner inside budgens. The times on here are budgens opening times not the post office. The post office is closed on Sunday and only opens on Saturday until 12:30
