Caerau Road Post Office

Small post office at the rear of the shop. Can get really busy at times. Sometimes you can use the till point down the front to get served quicker but that can also get busy because they have to serve in between serving customers from the shop.

Friendly staff. Handy for me to collect Amazon deliveries as alternate address.

I have used this PO for 12 years. I had heard over the last 3 or 4 years that they were robbing from the elderly. Last week I went in with my neighbour who is 70 and has the real signs of dementia and his family have disowned him and his money is being held there with his card there also and social care are giving him an allowance of £50 on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but this day I went in with this man the man tried to not give this man his money because they had seen me with this man before and because they felt I was the person that was robbing this man which was the reason all these rules were being put in place on this mans account. I am nothing but this mans next door neighbour and was the person who had seen him being robbed by a local drug addict and a woman who was visiting saying she was a carer for him, maybe a few months ago. Whenever they took anything I would call the police, the first time the carer has gone, the addict after about a dozen calls on about 6 different things has been told after taking his TV to not come back or I will call the police if I see her came back and took his bus-pass from his room last night as he sat in the dark. The woman who works in this PO told this drug addict on Tuesday this week that she threw me out of the PO the day before because I was there when she took £20 of this mans money by giving him just £30 of his £50 he was due. I am still waiting for the police to call about this, 4 days later and meanwhile the same woman gave him the same £30 on Wednesday. The first time when I was there I phoned social care but they said get myself out there and call the police, even though he says the police won't catch them because their figures will all match up and where's the proof even though me and 2 or 3 others may have heard the 2 cashiers in there give the man his £30 and when he asked why this was all he was getting was told to phone social care, even though he has dementia and no phone. Of course I used mine and called them myself and then the police. I also called them again on I am still waiting on the police on 3 different crimes now 4 days from when I called about the 1st incident. I put the 1 star to get this posted, I would not give them my time now. I did get an apology from the 1st guy in there for lying to the man when he had said to him he had given him the money when I eventually got him his money that 1st day. But that just shows his capability of lying in the 1st place. I will state here I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A PENNY from this man that I have not given him back 2 or 3 times looking after him while the authorities do their work. I WILL NEVER USE THIS POST OFFICE again to buy anything.

Absolutely a disgrace. Staff are rude, short changing and constantly on their phone.

Customer service is very poor, despite giving the shop the benefit of the doubt, I have recently been to the shop and been the victim of bad service.I went with some winning scratch cards, knowing how much I had won. To be short changed by £3.00. Brought some items and took them home and they were out of date . I'm not one for complaining as I feel awful but something needs to be done about the shop.

I was one of two customers and the guy that served me needs an attitude adjustment. I know they read the reviews and tend to moan about them. They are there for a reason. To improve on things.

Lying thieving owners. Ruined the reputation of the postie stole as many pensioners money as they could aswell as ripping off the locals and vulnerable. They don't care about our community at all in times of need they will do as much as they can to rip you off whether it be via over charging,short changing or skimming your cash withdrawal these people cannot be trusted. Wish i could rate lower than 1* i dont rate these idiots 1*
