Appalling service. We are still awaiting deposit return nine weeks after vacating our property. No information was communicated to us regarding this for over six weeks, after which point significant deductions were proposed which seem unreasonable as read against the inventory report. Despite a significant part of the deposit being uncontested, NetLettings have not returned this money to us after multiple requests. It is unclear whether NetLettings are willing to engage with the deposit protection scheme or whether we will need to recover the deposit via small claims court. Exasperating experience all round.

Very sporadic and poor communication in dealing with this issue, which is consistent with the experience during the tenancy in which several requests for repair were ignored and not addressed. Hard to think of a worse experience with property management in my 10 years of living in London. Would recommend avoiding their service as far as possible.

A joke of an agency!

We checked out of our apartment on the 5th of August 2022, we did not hear anything from the agency, until we sent an email on the 16th asking where our deposit was, we got told the “checkout went smoothly and we will be in contact”.
- I followed up on the 27th- no reply,
- Another follow up on the 5th of September-finally a reply- “I will chase this for you”
- Followed up again on the 9th- just asking for any update- got a reply saying “sorry I’m OOO I’ll chase this (again)

Essentially we got shoved around for a month. We then started calling on the 8th-13th of September calling, after 16 calls, and with numerous PA’s telling me they will “pass the urgent message on and they will call back” they called backed ONCE! and on the phone, we were told the Landlord was not communicating with them, so I guess they felt they should, in response not commune with the tenants!

They never had the curtesy to tell us the landlord was not replying to them! Not once did we get an apology from any of the agents or director, the only people to apologise was the PA’s. we eventually got our deposit (albeit almost half deducted) 7 weeks after moving out. Overall stressful and awful experience.

We received frequent relevant emails about properties available from Net Lettings. It was fairly easy and straightforward to book viewings with them. Ryan, an agent with Net lettings was very helpful and communicated with us clients swiftly and politely. He did a wonderful job being extremely responsive, any questions were answered respectfully and communication was easy.

This was the only agency I contacted that understood my struggle of being abroad while searching for a flat. From the beginning they were willing to provide a virtual viewing, when others didn’t understand my need for it. Their flexibility in relation to my needs was deeply appreciated.

Beware that Net Lettings sometimes act as an agent of other letting agencies with much worse reviews - we rented a flat shown to us by Net Lettings but our contract was actually with Elkay Properties who have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Be careful to check who manages the property you’re renting.

The overall experience was very good. I had concerns with regards to some pests and cleaning which were addressed within a week of checking in into the property. So great customer service and all issues appropriately addressed and resolved. Harry is great agent who helped us negotiating the rent and seamlessly completed the entire tenancy process within 10 days

Harry from Net Lettings has been a fantastic agent to walk us through the process of renting out the flat we viewed and liked! It was extremely easy to communicate with him and he was happy to answer any questions we had, even the one we asked more than once!
