Absolutely useless. Doctors aren't too bad, some listen to you but the receptionists... an Alsatian with severe downs syndrome could do better. They lose your prescriptions! Lose your medical history! Question and (attempt to remove) the successful treatments you've been on for years and they do all of the above over and over again.... I also expect many of the staff have never seen a computer before, nor a telephone - nor even another human being, for that matter. Avoid, avoid, AVOID.

Sadly I can't give zero or a negative score for this surgery. Just as soon as the current situation allows, I shall be transferring to another surgery. Utterly incompetent staff who palm you off with one excuse after another or simply give you the wrong information. Seriously, if you're looking for a new doctor/surgery and have any kind of illness or medical condition that requires competent and prompt communication with your doctor/surgery, you'd do better with Dr Crippen ... avoid this surgery like the plague!

Firstly Google Maps needs to update!! Kept sending me to the Methodist Church on the next street! Not impressed with being sick stuck out in pouring rain on a wild goose chase trying to find the Surgery!.. First impressions of the Surgery, NOT GOOD! Recently moved to the area so had to register before being seen mixed messages and very unhelpful staff! Dr S was fantastic to call back almost immediately!

I now understand what everyone's problem is with this place because in the past 2 weeks, I've had two issues.

Firstly, they tried to prescribe me something that I have been allergic to for the past 22 years - which was written down on the health questionnaire when you sign up.

And secondly, today, I asked for an emergency prescription of my ventolin inhaler. I got told that it was being sorted and to give them 10 minutes or so. I gave them 20 before coming back in to see what was happening with it. I got told infront of other people waiting to be seen that I am apparently "abusing" my inhaler and that I must book an appointment before they can even give me anything. I've been here 4 months and have ordered 1 inhaler. I tried to explain to them that I've been through this already but they kept pushing. I tried to tell them that I am struggling to walk, and I cannot get the time out of work to physically come down to the surgery, esepcially considering when It could be done on the phone.

Is it not a human right just to be able to breathe without someone making you feel belittled infront of everyone?

The receptionists are rude half the time and don’t have a clue what they’re on about, the vast majority of the doctors are also extremely ignorant. They refer you for urgent appointments and reschedule them multiple times without telling you despite your medication running out when this has been made very clear to them multiple times. If you want an increased blood pressure I’d definitely recommend signing up here.

My mother was suffering with sharp cognitive decline for 6 months. The doctor came to the house and decided that eardrops were the solution.

A month later she ended up critically ill in hospital with sepsis. She now can't walk or talk
You would have thought that a doctor would realise that confusion in the elderly can be exacerbated by infection but the muppet who visited my mother didn't even take her temperature to check for infection let alone take blood or urine samples.
This clown ought to be struck off
