Without a doubt the most disorganised, incompetent, and generally useless company I have ever encountered. To give just a couple of examples: when we first arrived at our property, there was an enormous pile of rubbish outside left by the previous tenants, which took over a month to be removed. In addition, we are currently two months into our tenancy and I am yet to be given curtains or blinds in my downstairs, street-facing bedroom. Save yourself a lot of frustration by avoiding RMA.

The most disorganised, incompetent company that doesn’t care about any of its tenants or house issues. I have been living with rats in my ceiling for 9 months now and even after paying for my own pest control company and telling them I need to be reimbursed they refused. Loose significant amounts of paperwork and act like the tenants haven’t given it to them yet to the point where we get signed and dated photocopies to make sure we cannot be held accountable. Save yourself a lot of stress and DO NOT RENT WITH RMA. I wish I had done the same

Absolutely appalled by this company. Promised a rental house would be professionally cleaned, the garden was going to cut and sorted. Neither of which had occurred. Rubbish all over the garden. Mould on walls, inside wardrobes and curtains, which is highly toxic for tenants with asthma. Bedrooms with inadequate and faulty blinds not offering privacy. A complete lack of safeguarding responsibilities to students.

Worst property agents i have ever had no professionalism and no work ethics. just worries about money and not care about there tenants. have complained about maintenance issues in the house but did not seem to have any interest in it only in rent. wont recommend to any one. very UNPROFESSIONAL and WORST LETTING AGENCY.

Absolute disgrace of an estate agency. The list of issues is almost laughable at this stage. We are 5 weeks into our tenancy and still do not have a properly working shower, a window that we can open in the bedroom, a functioning washing machine, just to name a few. On the day of arrival I was shocked the see the level of dust that was left in the property (images attached), RMA refused to do anything about this and said it was down to us to clean, it was at this point we found out that we weren’t even provided with a hoover. It took them so long to provide us with one that I had to borrow one from the neighbour as I was waking up in the night coughing due to the levels of dust. The level of service has been appalling and I would strongly suggest against renting through RMA.

Awful experience from start to finish. I can't tell whether they were taking advantage of us because we were students, woefully incompetent, or both. Whilst applying for the house they lost the documents we had given them and blamed us for it several times. They told us prior to the contract being signed that no deposit was needed from us, only to inform us after the signing that they would be needing a £750 deposit from each tenant. Upon arrival, the house was not professionally cleaned as they claimed. It was dusty and the balcony was littered with cigarette butts and other pieces of debris. Also upon arrival, we found a bed which had been left in the downstairs corridor and a mattress in the cloak cupboard, neither of which were removed until two months later despite us requesting this during the first week. Alongside this, the element, grill and two out of the four hobs on the oven did not work when we first arrived (house for FIVE people). When an engineer was sent to have a look, he told us that he had been called out before regarding the same issue with the same oven just before our tenancy began and that he had reported it to RMA and no action had been taken. Our washing machine broke after its first usage and, despite our protests, we were charged for its repair. That was all week 1. The rest of our tenancy was a series of us making requests about maintenance and other issues and either not hearing back or seeing an actual response for long periods of times (sometimes months).

Come the end, we left the house in a better state than that in which we found it and they still attempted to claim a third of our deposit for 'damages' which were either illegitimate or not our fault. It took six months after the end of our tenancy to settle this dispute and get our deposit back.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Really don't bother

What a poor excuse of a letting agent. I would give zero stars if possible. This letting agent quite clearly tried to take advantage of my household as we were students. They were very unresponsive and unprofessional during our tenancy. Following which they illegitimately tried to claim back on anything they could from our deposit. The house was below average in terms of cleanliness when we moved in, yet they are claiming a £350 cleaning fee despite it being in much better condition then when we moved in. It was very obvious they had no idea what state our property was in when we moved in, so make sure you have plenty of photographic proof but save yourself the hassle and avoid them.

An agent is supposed to make life easier and not more difficult. I have had to chase the agency for my deposit every day for the last 10 days without any response. Dominic (the agent) ignores emails and you have to chase him by phone to get any sort of response and even then it is a struggle.
