I initially spoke to Cameron at Peter Alan lettings and he was a breath of fresh air and positivity, providing great information and carefully taking through our options.
We decided to let through Peter Alan and helped by Cameron and Luke, they guided us through the process and we obtained excellent tenants.
We are more than happy with the service provided. Communication was excellent and responses by Cameron and Luke always prompt. It was a smooth process and I would highly recommend them as a letting agent. Especially if you are a ‘nervous landlord’.
This branch is a stellar contrast from the other Peter Alan branches, the HQ should take a closer look at this branch’s employees conduct if they don’t want their good reputation tarnished.
On having my offer accepted, we then entered the rabbit hole of British bureaucracy. However, this process was made painless as Peter Alan makes heavy use of technology to move through the renting paperwork, as well all the admin needed to switch over utilities and internet etc. This made the whole process relatively painless.
I picked up the keys today and I couldn’t be happier. Whatever you requirements and budgets, you will receive the same level of service. Jo and her team know Cardiff and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
I have to say I am pretty disappointed, they rented me a property without hot water, without all the legal smoke alarms, with a broken stove, broken fridge, broken washing machine.
Urine stained mattress, stained carpets.
During telling them about the problems which I noticed right away after getting the keys, I was told I have to plumb the washing machine in myself, every other enquire has just been "I will request the landlord to do it"
So far its day six and still no hot water, still broken appliances, nothing has been done I havent been able to even live in my own home been living in my mothers. Will seek compensation when this is sorted if it ever will be.
Writing this review in hopes they will press the landlord to meet their legal requirements
