I have just sold my late father's house thanks to the excellent service received from Roy. At what was an emotional time I found Roy to be extremely professional, friendly and honest. His knowledge of the local area and housing market was outstanding. He kept me informed of progress at every stage from the initial valuation, viewings through to completion. I would not hesitate to use again and would highly recommend to anyone. 10/10 for Roy and the team from me.

Had the pleasure of having Reeds Rains liason between all of the people involved in my purchase and sale. They are beyond professional, polite and understanding. Ruth, who I had the most dealings with, went up and beyond to make the transaction as smooth as possible. She is an absolute credit to the company and held the whole operation together.

We have recently sold our apartment just outside Chorley town centre and we cannot speak highly enough of the service and support we received from the team at Reeds Rains Chorley. We believe that achieving an offer within just a couple of days of the property going up for sale was due to the excellent description of the property and the local amenities written by Reeds Rains and posted on the various property websites. We were proactively kept informed of progress and, in the event that we did have any questions or queries, someone was always on hand to help. There may be 'cheaper' estate agents out there but we are firm believers in 'that you get what you pay for' and the level of professionalism, advice and support was worth every penny. We would certainly use them again in the event that we look to move in the future.

Single handedly, the WORST service I have ever received. Being a tenant, unfortunately we don't get to choose who our Estate Agents are - especially with the current housing issues, but honestly if you do have the choice I strongly advise against Reeds Rains. Firstly they tried to rob over £300 off me and my boyfriend to end our contract early, due to me becoming pregnant and having to move back to my hometown for family support. £300 pound. They were having a laugh, told them immediately that I will have to check with Citizens Advice about these 'fees' because If there's one thing I'm not its a mug. So as soon as I said this, magically the fees got wiped due to a 'mix up' - convenient. Then we eventually do move out our property and they tell us the deposit of nearly £600 will be released to us 7 days after moving out, well 3 weeks later and you guessed it... we are yet to receive that money. I have emailed multiple times, with no reply. Every time we called the person was 'out' and would call us back, which again never happened. We literally just kept waiting and calling and waiting, they told us that it would be with us by xxx date. It wasn't. Eventually, 2.5 weeks after moving out we call them, only to be told the refund was never processed - what a surprise, and it will 'be with you by the end of the week', well the end of the week is looming and still no refund. Genuinely just robbing, lying creatures. Oh and not to mention they deducted £70 from our deposit for a 'professional oven clean', I asked for an invoice for this, which of course is yet to be sent over. I won't be letting that slide either. Genuinely if they don't buck their ideas up I have no choice but to take this further as at this point it is robbery. Avoid at all costs, if you are in a position to do so.

I was trying to rent in northwest Lancashire region from Poole Dorset and struggling big time. But Sonia's team specially Lucy was excellent: providing me a video tour of the property, up-to-date information, did not feel they are hungry for money. Welcomed me well. And in the end found a nice little house to live in.

From the moment I contacted Reeds Rains Chorley about a property I wanted to rent, they couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating. I found myself in an unexpected tricky living situation which required a very quick move and without Sonia, Brooke and Sam, it just wouldn't have happened so seemlessly. I also needed to call most days to speak to Brooke and Sam, constantly asking different questions and receiving updates, and not once did I feel like I was being a nuisance - amazing customer service, thank you both so much.
