After a dreadful experience with many letting agencies in Ashford, I stumbled upon Mr.Anthony Gilbert and his team online. I had a nearly perfect experience with all the team members who went above and beyond to ensure that our move to Ashford was seamless. They were very professional in their approach and full points for accessibility and approachability. Unlike other agencies, I never had to deal with any call centers. They always kept me informed about developing situations and were 'always' available for a quick chat. The entire process, right from the viewing to moving in, was extremely smooth and prompt. I called the Mann office in Ashford to get some advice on a property that I was purchasing via another estate agent. Even though there would be no sale for them their representative Tanya provided overviews, examples and advice of the current financial changes. I won't know until the future come if this advice was accurate, but it was logical, friendly and something that was voluntary for her to provide.

Tony Gilbert, the manager, went all out to find us a property in the fastest time. NO other agent (and I had called most of them) went all out to help us.
Ellie was always there to help us with the financial/admin side and we are very grateful for all her help.

Tania was amazing from the very first call that we made for buying a house. She went over and beyond her role to assist us with the process. The care and kindness that she put into her customer service is absolutely admirable.

Please be extremely careful renting through Mann lettings/ redstone and avoid if you can! We had a broken toilet which flooded half of the flat at Victoria point. This was ignored for 8 months despite constantly reporting the issue. The heating was never installed and this was left unchecked for 1 year despite being reported. We received massive energy bills and were forced to pay these without explanation despite not having heating in the flat. The team were often aggressive over the phone to my housemate and unprofessional in general. The communication within this team was worrying, no one seemed to talk to each other and we had to re-explain the issue constantly. Despite all of the issues which Mann lettings/ redstone happily ignored for the entire year, they still tried to take as much of our deposit as possible. If you are thinking of renting from this company, ask yourself “would I be happy to be left in a mouldy flooded apartment unsure if there is sewages water on my floor for 8 months?” Save yourself from an absolute nightmare and rent from anyone other than these clowns.

I have been renting via Mann in Ashford for a couple of years now.

Our original rental through the COVID lockdown was difficult but the letting team ensured the process was fast, smooth and without any issues. The renter check process was much far easier than I've had with other estate agents.

The current letting management team led by Branch Manager Tony is always friendly, accessible and responsive to my queries.

I would recommend using this branch of Mann for your letting needs.
