As a landlord I have successfully worked in partnership with many letting agents over the years. Lighthouse is only consistent in the level of poor service they delivered to me and my tenant. This review is 100% genuine. I have records that can evidence the extent of their incompetence. Do your self a favour and find a decent letting agent.

Dear Lighthouse, thankyou for your reply to my rating. On this occasion you cannot claim a poor review is a fake review, so instead you choose to make entirely false claims of my behaviour. I have a full record of all our communications and will be sharing them with Google Review and The Property Ombudsman of whom you are a member. At the time of writing I notice your website does not as a mandatory code of practice requirement prominently display the Ombudsman logo on your website. I wonder why? You may wish to amend this at your earliest opportunity. I will leave people reading this to draw their own conclusions.

Last response from a customer on this platform before asking The Property Ombudsman to adjudicate:

1. We did not by any communication platform say this Compliant was closed.We told Mr Wright the Director of Lighthouse that this complaint was remaining open via a recorded phone call.
2. At no time in any form of correspondence were we abusive to you or your team. I regard your comments about how we behaved as libel. In a nutshell you are out of order,
3. We recorded all phone calls. Which is legal. I refer you to the Information Commissioner for advice. We will release calls on a legal basis only.
4. You are correct emails and indeed other messages were sent at various times. We never demanded expected, suggested or inferred a response until the team were back at work in normal office hours.

Lighthouse have looked after the buying, selling and renting my properties for well over a decade and their professionalism has always exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to Evie, Jean and Michaela who keep me informed and very well advised - you really do deserve your success. Keep it up.

I would definitely use lighthouse estate agents again in the future. I have only sold a property through them but I found Simon very helpful and courteous and was able to make contact at any time with him and get good sound advice.

Having recently engaged with Lighthouse Estate Agents I can honestly say that they are an extremely professional and accomplished estate agent, we have rented a property with myself and 2 children and the process has been extremely smooth from initial viewing right up until the collection of our keys, we had a couple of minor issues a month in but these were rectified extremely quickly and efficiently and I would be proud to recommend them to my family and friends for either purchasing or renting in the future and if we are lucky enough to be able to buy in the future I would go nowhere else.
