The Works is an awesome burger. Curious Ale on tap too. What a great hidden gem. There is an impressive vegan menu too.

Our favourite burger takeaway! Burgers are the best and the staff are so lovely. Always remembering you. Even more impressed with them after the kindness and concern they showed to a stray dog. Making sure he safe until he could be safely taken to a local vets. Just an all round great place 🥰

Ordered here many times with no issue, today received this for £5.50! Not even a jumbo sausage! Girl on the phone just said “sorry, we will change it next time”

WORST COOKED BREAKFAST WEV'E EVER EATEN, visited today and all three meals were swimming in grease and the cooked breakfast had been deep fried , really was disgusting. Not sure how a cafe can get something so basic so wrong. 1 star is too generous.

Just ordered from them again. Service was very slow last week and today I asked for NHS discount as I always do before handing the money. Then was told it was to late to offer the discount as they had processed the order. Very odd why they couldn’t just refund me and redo the order. Has put me off going again if I’m honest. Will now try raffertys.

Website said closed at 5 I went there at half two I took a seat with my friend and went up to order and then we was told sorry we are shutting the kitchen… why let us sit down and look through the menu if you wasn’t going to let us order

Stopped here several times for coffee. Always great as is the hot chocolate. I’ve tried the halloumi fries,very good and generous portions. and the calamari which is in my opinion the best for miles around.

Nice food. I had an excellent breakfast for less than £5. I saw classy menu items for lunch for a reasonable price. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area that very screened of from the street.
