Well worth a visit. Would certainly go back. We enjoyed the fruit loaf maple syrup but sadly the bacon was not crispy as mentioned it would be on the menu, it was though full of flavour, an interesting dish. Great historical building with an interesting exhibition on the second floor. Toilets also up two flights not easy if you have mobility issues.

Was greeted as soon as we walked in by a friendly employee and offered a table inside. It's a quaint cute little tea room. Service was quick and very efficient, all the staff friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly and was way above expectations. The menu is bigger than expected. There is breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menus. Good selection of teas and coffees. Great value for money and incredibly tasty. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the scones were amazing. Really good coffee. My friend ordered cream tea for one which came with two scones and enough tea for probably around 3/4 cups, he took one of the scones home for later as the scones really are filling (coming from the guy who skipped breakfast so we could eat here at lunch!)
There was a man playing a piano which was nice to hear / see.
Toilets are on the top floor but there seems to be only one per gender so maybe a wait to use if it's busy.
You can dine inside, there's a few tables outside the front and there was a garden out the back with several tables (but we not being used by the looks of it for some reason). I chose to purchase an extra scone as take out for my lunch tomorrow.
Highly recommended & I'll be back when I next visit Canterbury!

Tiny Tim’s tearoom was a pleasant surprise in Canterbury. The afternoon tea was very filling, fish cakes were warm and delicious, and the scones were basically bigger than Tiny Tim himself. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality afternoon tea, at a fair price in Canterbury.

Amazing food, perfect full English breakfast. Excellent gluten free options.
Fantastic service. All in a beautiful extremely old haunted building. Throughly enjoyed the whole experience. Photos of the ghost room upstairs.

What a lovely experience! The staff were really kind, and everything I ordered was delicious. On top of that, the tea room was cozy and warm on a chilly day.

Wonderful selection of teas and a decent food menu to choose from. Although the scones tend to be a bit too hard/ dry for my liking (personal preference as I have friends who love them that way), I can wholly recommend their salads!

Also, take a wonder around upstairs, the ghost room is really cool!

Lovely historical building to eat with plenty of character charm but their coffee is over roasted and bitter. Also, when ordering the all day breakfast, be advised that the bread is artisan and very hard when toasted, plus the bacon is only just cooked. So, next time I come I'll be changing the breakfast bread for lightly toasted muffins and well cooked crispy bacon! Having said that, the poached eggs and sausages were delicious 😋

Lovely tearoom to visit in the city centre of Canterbury.
Great choice of tea and coffee flavors. The cakes and scones are huge and taste great. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. You can sit inside or outside whatever your preference has. When you sit inside you me see/hear/see the "piano" man that plays nice music.
