We had a very enjoyable Afternoon Tea - Halloween style here!
Very reasonably priced and the staff could not have been any better. Exceptional service and we loved every minute of it. Would highly recommended Symonds at Redwood, we will be back again.

Good family restaurant situated in Audley Redwood retirement village. Went for Sunday Dinner and it was banging! Lovely Roast Chicken, Roast Potatoes, vegetables, cauliflower cheese and gravy, all expertly cooked. Preceded by a creamy mushroom soup and homemade bread. Worth a visit. Parking is near entrance to the village.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea here with my family and friends. The cakes, sandwiches and Prosecco were all very good and very well presented. Elegant restaurant in lovely setting with very comfortable seats. Friendly staff and super toilets. Will go back again. Easy to park in the visitors car park and only a short walk to the restaurant. Easy to book.

This is part of Audley retirement village. Non residents will feel the unwelcome chill at this place. It starts from when you enter and are snubbed by the girl on front desk. I’d recommend eating elsewhere and leaving these people alone.

Dear Symonds Restaurant,

I have been recommended to try out Symonds at Redwood for a while now as I have friends that visit fairly often and I was not disappointed. We attended at dining experience with my parents which was great and it had a lovely calming atmosphere with great service. The food was delicious, well presented and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it was a little hard to find but there were disable spots right outside the front of the main reception (where the restaurant is situated).

My first afternoon tea and what a nice choice for this first time: everything is really nice here, starting from the surroundings, very friendly stuff and then the atmosphere in the room. 4 stars instead of 5 is for the sandwiches: I believe thery were missing a bit of a flavor, especially cucumber and eggs’ ones. If not - a great cosy place to enjoy this tradition.
