This place is a gem - restaurant quality food and service in a charming laidback pub setting. Our steaks were divine and this dessert was sent from Heaven. Don't miss it.

Not a country village pub at all ;-) It's a high end urban gastro mecca with excellent value for money disguised as an 18th century country village pub. I've paid more for indifferent lunches in London.

I can't fault anything from our Saturday lunch...except no rooms for me to sleep over to be first in for dinner ;-)

Real printed menus, not ghastly QR codes. Lively atmosphere not the din and clamour found in other fashionable eateries. Starter sized starters that leave you ready for the main course. Admirable Brit cheese selection for those able to resist the brief but yummy pudding list.

Well behaved children and dogs welcome.

Fantastic meal tonight. Great service and a warm atmosphere. Food was unbelievable. We will definitely be returning. And the cutlery!!! First class. A wonderful experience.

Tonight my husband & I took two guests to eat here. We were tight for time as one of our guests was speaking at the St Laurence Hall, Warborough & we had to get there by 7 pm. The chef & staff were brilliant, we had wonderful food, the dessert was almost too beautiful to eat & we made the meeting on time because they worked so hard to facilitate that. I cannot recommend Home Sweet Home too highly, it was simply great!

The survive is fantastic. The food is really nice, great quality although slightly expensive for what you get. I would have liked to have seen a bit more food as I was still hungry at the end. The selection of bread was only 3 pieces so not great to share but overall I was really pleased with it & I would go back.

Beautiful food, lovely setting and friendly staff. We sat outside in the garden which was lovely. The staff were all wearing face masks which made me feel very covid safe.

Such a lovely place. We sat outside and it was peaceful, the staff were friendly and polite and the food was absolutely excellent. This is just what we moved to Oxfordshire for :) Definitely coming here again.

Amazing little find , perfect in every way , cosy fires , amazing toilet facilities, hand towels nice little touch , food was very good top notch ! Not cheap , but good quality everything
