Visited on Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy. The service was great and very friendly. There were three if us and we all had a dessert and a coffee each. My friends enjoyed the desserts. I was having Crème Caramel and it would have been lovely but it had garlicky aftertaste on the external sides of it - hence only 4*. Maybe it was kept in the fridge next to something with garlic or maybe they were cooking a lot of garlic nearby but you don’t normally expect your dessert to taste/smell like garlic.

Very enjoyable meal at Cote. We had 2 portions of garlic bread to start, followed by 3 Cote Burgers and a Penne Pasta. The service was very good and both courses arrived quickly.

Popped in for the vegan breakfast and was really happy. This place can be busy and we didn't make a reservation but the host was super kind and found us a table.
Service was impressive and staff were super. Will be back more and they keep adding vegan options.
Seating arrangements are comfortable and not overly crowded.

Lovely birthday meal spoiled by RACIST waitress who came over to us TWICE to ask us if we had paid the bill, after we had already settled the £75 bill with another waitress!!!!

Came here Tuesday 29th November around 7pm for my mother's birthday meal. Main waitress who was serving us was really lovely. I think she may have even been the manager? Not sure. I gave her a cake that I had bought for my Mum and she kindly brought it out with her team singing Happy Birthday after we had dinner. Thank you!

However, after I had paid the £75 bill by card, my Mother and I were sitting at the table chatting. A few minutes later this eastern european lady came over and said "Have you paid?". We were shocked and said yes. She then walked away and then came back again 1 minute later and asked us AGAIN "have you paid?". We then said yes again and asked what the problem was. She then just said "ok" and walked away.

There were 3 other tables around us with people sitting so they could easily hear this disrespectful woman questioning us each time.

We were the only non-white people in the restaurant at the time. And she did not interrogate and harass any of the other tables like this. So it's very clear that this was racially motivated.

Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers. Spoiled our meal.

All she had to do was check the till system or speak to the waitress that was serving us and she would have seen that we had already paid!

We've been to several Cote branches before and never had such issue. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back to this branch again after this experience. The woman should be fired.

Been to a few Cotes - they are usually OK. 2 out of 4 of us arrived a bit early (7.20 for table at 7.45) were told to leave and come back - even though restaurant was half full.

Starter and Puds, fine. 1 steak was OK, slightly under, 1 main fair (mussels) 2 horrid risotto's. I mean really bad, no seasoning, no taste in stock, rice felt like it had been unfrozen in a rush - absolutely tasteless. And they had no parmesan (we were offered cheddar 😂). Manager gave us mains for free, but really what on earth are they doing serving that.

Excellent food and a lovely service, extra effort made for my aunty-in-laws 80th Birthday 🎂 🥳 .
Thank you very much to a young mixed race girl, whos name I didn't catch, but made our experience wonderful 😊 with her impeccable service!

They serve awesome breakfasts. Value deal with great coffee and juice. They have consistently good food and service, just be aware they can get really full during peak hours and weekends when they will need bookings.

June 2021 update: They ‘removed’ their breakfast sets, opting for a more lux set with champagne. :( nevertheless it’s still good food albeit not so £ friendly.
