Wagamama bury st edmunds

I like the food and the atmosphere, but don’t find the place exactly clean. Tables are always sticky and have a funny smell. My husband took our daughter couple of months ago and she had fresh apple juice that must have been off and she was sick immediately. Staff were helpful but no replacement/discount offered and we had to leave town for the day as the kid was covered in sick.

The food here is great!! I had katsu chicken which was lovely, great experience with brilliant staff! Would definitely recommend

Popped in for a spot of lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Short but lovely visit. Wasn't uncomfortably busy, food was delicious, staff were very friendly. Always a treat :)

Disappointed with this visit.
After being seated waited quite a while before raising attention of staff. No real staff engagement, of acknowledgement of being there.
The atmosphere was underwhelming, not like other of the many Wagamamas we been to.
The food was OK, but the Fire Cracker was just too hot & made the meal nearly unedible. This was mentioned to a member of the team who did say other diners had mentioned this too.
Perhaps there was a shortage of staff?
Either way customer engagement is in my opinion is a key aspect.

The food was fantastic and the portions were perfect! The service here went above and beyond for my mom's gluten allergies. Her dish was prepared specifically by a head chef to ensure her food was allergen free. All 4 dishes also came out in less than 15 minutes.

I tried the sticky vegan ribs and the chicken ramen. Based on taste alone, you'd NEVER guess the vegan ribs were actually mushrooms! And I HATE mushrooms. The texture is a bit off putting, but I like my ribs super dry, so maybe I'll ask them to overcook them next time. I thought the chicken ramen was incredible - will definitely be back again for it. My husband and brother-in-law said there was a "weird taste" in it.

The duck gyoza was a little disappointing, the dough was really starchy and a bit over-fried. However, the shirodashi ramen was excellent!

We had a great experience here. The gentleman who served us was very kind and made sure we were looked after.

The food was delicious. Nothing too adventurous, but a lot to choose from, and it looked great. The vegan squid was very realistic and worth a try!

They took both our dietary requirements seriously, even going through the menu with me and checking which foods contained peanuts.

Both the dining area and bathrooms were kept very clean, with COVID awareness posters dotted around the restaurant.

If you're looking for somewhere quick and easy, Wagamama's is a safe bet!
