What a lovely place, the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them. The town was very busy, because of a beer festival and having been here on a previous occasion, and loved it, we headed for there again, but as we came nearer, we could see it was full too. As we were wondering where to go, a very nice lady who worked there, said she would take one of the outside tables inside for us. I asked her if they were serving food, not in the bar, but showed us the way to their restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Hotel it self is good. Space, clean and good breackfast! They forgot to tell if they have weddings it is imposdible for you to sleep until the end of the party! Guests who want to sleep need to wait and still awake!!!

The placement of sockets in my room was a bit bizarre and a little unhelpful, but the room was clean and the staff were lovely.
The main reason for only three stars is my last night. Loud music from the pub opposite until 2am Saturday morning. Not really the hotels fault, but I wouldn't stay on Friday night ever again.

The place was fairly busy, we didn't have a reservation but they managed to find a seat for my family and I with one of us in a wheelchair. Plenty of space to move around, the facilities were clean, clutter free and nicely presented. The service was amazing, the waiters were very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was nicely cooked and great portion sizes. A true delight to visit, we had a great evening.

I've stayed in the castle many times over the last few years. I have always had a lovely stay the staff are always very welcoming. Mike the night porter was really friendly and extremely nice fella.

Lovely pub, been here twice so far and there's been great music each time. Tried their amaretto sour which was lovely. Quick bar service and plenty of seating. Saw the new year in, which was nice.

Has a function that plays loud music until 1am. Unfotunately got no sleep which was upsetting as i work hard and was looking forward to a break. Not recommended as the hotel does not consider its guests.

The hotel bar is a really nice place to get a drink. Like vicaris too, just wish it was a bit clearer when it was open.
