Unfortunately it is not the same owner anymore. The website doesn’t reflect the food that it’s serving. Simple pub food and ok. However service was quite strange. Served G&T with lemonade?! Would not go there anymore...

Wow, this place is beautiful the owner has put a lot of their personality into this original design. I fell in love with it straight away. The owner and staff (family members) were very friendly and attentive and the food was home cooked and delicious. We are in the area for the week and will definitely return before going home.

I make an effort to come here as often as possible to enjoy a book over a drink. Today I came for Sunday lunch and it was delicious!
Great food, great selection of beers and ales and fantastic friendly service!

I'm going around Pembrokeshire visiting pubs/restaurants and giving my honest reviews.
I begin with The Belle Vue. I decided to take a family I know to see if this establishment was child friendly.
Oh dear! I honestly don't know where to begin with this pub. The menu is extremely difficult to read as its written over what looks like a newspaper. The food was utterly disgusting. Chips which were covered in loads of grease and hardly cooked. A piece of gammon which again wasn't cooked properly. One of my guests had the pie of the day which was steak and ale but reading other reviews it always seems to be steak and ale. That came with mash and overcooked veg. Another of my guests had the chilli. She decided on half rice/half chips. This also came with a small bowl of nachos. These nachos were stale. Informed the waitress about this. She picked the bowl up, shook it around and said they had no more. She said we could have them back or she'll take them away. Obviously we opted for them to be taken. Probably to the next unsuspecting customer.
Children's meals here are £7.95. I think that is over priced. There is no drink included for children in that price. Not at all child friendly. I chose the family I took as one of her children is very active. The waitress told this child a few times "don't do that", "don't touch that". We were the only ones in the restaurant part of this pub so we did not cause any nuisance to any other customers.
On paying, one of my guests thought she had been overcharged so asked a female behind the bar if her bill was correct. Well this female I can only compare to a Rottweiler waiting to pounce.
I'm not sure why this establishment has quite a few good reviews but you can make your mind up about that.
Food was absolutely disgusting, needs a chef. Hosts were nearly as bad, needs lessons in customer service.
Needs a new menu with decent "pub food" on and printed properly.
I've had to give it one star unfortunately. Not my choice as it doesn't deserve any.
