Mark McMurray successfully carried out lead flashing work to two of our chimneys in October 2021 and at the same time quoted to replace our dormer bedroom flat roof. He explained that the replacement roof would have to wait until after the winter and to ring him in March 2022. When I rang Mark he said he needed two dry weather days, but should have the roof replaced before Easter.
Now it's September and having experienced the driest spring and summer in 30 years my roof has not been replaced.
I have repeatedly asked Mark over the 5 months when he is going to come, to be told several times it would be the following week. Now Mark does not return my calls.
What a let down.

Warning to anyone thinking of having there roof done please do not go for this man as you could end up with the same stresses as we did he came out to quote us giving us a list of materials to get told us to get a large skip and get the scaffolding put up after we agreed a price and a date to start I went ahead and got everything prepared for him he promised he would start on the following Sunday morning at 8am calling us the night before to confirm everything was there we were very excited because we have been waiting for about 7yrs to do this he said he would be there 8am Sunday morning i was up at 6.30am with excitement 8am came 8.30am 10am came but no one turned up so I tried ringing him and texting him and voice mailing him but nothing this went on for 4 weeks and still no reply from him what so ever. we are now stuck with a skip and scaffolding and a pile of materials that as cost us over 4500 pounds all I can say is thank you for leaving us in a very large mess and loads of stress it as made my wife and I ill and sick so please be aware we don't want you to go through the same stresses as we did he should be put on dogdey builders
