Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, not crowded even though the site was almost full. Views were brilliant and facilities were for me totally fine. Basic toilets X 4 and 2 showers that were cleaned regularly. Had lots of rain but ground didn't become boggy. Lots to do nearby. Had a few visits from Frankie the most friendly cat, we provided a bit of shelter when it was tipping it down and he found a nice spot at the back of the van when it was sunny.

We had a great time, we got a lovely little pitch (no1) in the corner next to the drive, it meant we had privacy and our own little camp. We had a lovely campfire and the site was so peaceful, the facilities are basic but clean. The best thing was the farm cat who paid us a visit and sat with us round our campfire, jumped up and sat on our knees having cuddles, can't wait to go back and see that little cat again!

Great little campsite, with beautiful views. The owner is very friendly and quite easy going. The prices are very reasonable too.

I spent just one night on this site, to test my camping gear before going away properly. It was easy to locate, the facilities were more than adequate, and were well maintained and clean. There are a few villages nearby, and some nice walking routes accessible from the site. I would recommend this site for a long weekend camping.

Although on google maps satellite view, you will see two quarries nearby, don't let this put you off. We didn't hear a single sound come from them, and they're completely out of sight from the site.

Wonderful place with cracking views.
We were treated so well by the owners of the site. Very clean amenities which were cleaned several times a day. The owner really helped us out when we had a bit of a booking pickle at another campsite. She made sure our weekend wasn’t ruined.
Very close to everywhere that’s good in the Peaks. What a find!

We really enjoyed Ballidon Farm. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. Nice field, clean showers and toilets, very basic but ideal for a stress free break. Weak signal on the phones which was perfect, as we all got to spend some quality bonding time with our children, without all the usual distractions.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Ballidon Moor Farm. The site is nestled in a wonderfully peaceful location with only fellow campers and Philip the bull for company. The facilities are basic but are kept spotlessly clean. If your coming with a caravan or motorhome please remember to bring your levellers, however wooden blocks are available to help get you level and facing those spectacular views across the peak district.
With the picturesque village of Tissington and the market town of Ashbourne only a few miles away, it’s a great location to get out and explore.

A Derbyshire gem! Great location with breathtaking views and a warm, friendly welcome from the owners. The facilities are basic but spotlessly clean and the site is very well maintained. Lots to see and do from the site. A safe and beautifully placed ‘haven’ for campers of all ages - particularly families with young children where there is lots of space to play and furry friends to meet!
