Extremely overpriced for the quality of food served. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon no toast nothing else and got eggs made with the milk frother on the coffee machine and 3 pieces of bacon for £4!! More expensive than a simple bacon and egg sandwich on the menu. Extremely disappointing. Never again.

Superb little independent cafe. Great food, great prices, friendly service. Great rapport with the owner and he remembers my typical order (Jacket potato stacked with chicken bacon and spinach with a dressed side salad for £6, can't go wrong). Ignore the bitter idiot who left a 1 star review. It's no coincidence everyone else left a 5 star one. No pleasing some people!

Great no frills cafe with the bog standard stuff you'd expect

A classic small sandwich shop with soul. Was busy during lunch hours on a weekday, could tell the place was filled with regulars. Excellent tea and a tasty egg mayo sarnie! Friendly service too. Better than any sandwich and tea from a chain shop let me tell ya 👍

Great little place, I've been a customer twenty years, and taxi drivers love it, so it must be good! ..Great value, great coffee, good service, nice ambience..plenty of choice..and pastries! What's not to like?
