Lovely owner plus gorgeous dog but on left of site New build housing estate going up quite close too in proximity so not very private for sitting outside as houses workmen overlooking site also busy lane only metres away in the summer with Windows open in caravan would be quite intrusive

We are supposed to be there now but had to leave early because the owners dog kept jumping out of their window and harrassing our dog and the owner was told that this couldn't happen long before we arrived because our boy doesn't like other dogs because of his past. He allowed his dog to run free all the time to harass his customers who were paying him £1100 for a week's stay. The garden I had spoke to the owner about on numerous occasions going back 2 months before going about it needing to be secure but it is NOT secure far from it and any dog/child could get over it as proven by the many photos taken. The owner assured me on numerous occasions it was secure and the bit that wasn't he had put up a "FENCE" but on arrival it was a flimsy piece of chicken wire which again any dog/child could have got over with ease. Owners dog jumped twice the height trying to get into our car every time we went in and out yet the owner would have you believe she couldn't jump the tiny piece of chicken wire he put up. He got us there under false pretences because he didn't do what he said he would on my many calls BEFORE even going. It's not suitable for animals or children at this property. The owner is quite frankly an ignorant delusional man who thought he knew my dog better than me saying on many occasions my dog wasn't used in dog fighting (which he was according to the dogs trust) because he's too nice of a dog. Yet in the next breath told me if he doesn't like other dogs he should be put down. This man is not only a danger to his dog but to any dog that has the misfortune of going there. On leaving 5 days early we were in the car wanting to get onto the motorway and put this dreadful weekend behind us and he wanted me to go back into the property to do a check. So I did and he started videoing me and started opening each freezer drawer and fridge and all the bins and taking the duvets off the bed and lifting the lids on all the toilets and videoing it all? Don't know what he was expecting to find but boy he looked disappointed when he found nothing. Anyway he wanted me to say on camera I would accept the remaining money for the holiday back as full and final payment, I wasn't prepared to say this because I have every intention of taking this man and Hoseasons to court for false representation of a holiday. Whilst at the door his friend came and tried to grab me and the owner shouted at him to stop and told him enough!! It's all on his camera which I'm sure the judge will be wanting to see. This man and his property should be the last place anyone would want to go to for a peaceful holiday and my advice would be to stay clear of him at all costs. He should be featured on holidays from HELL because that's what it was and I've taken enough footage of the place so maybe it will be. Also this man was watching our every move on CCTV looking directly down into our garden. I'll be seeing him and Hoseasons in court.

Housing estate being built right next to site Quite noisy. If booking avoid pitch 0. Would not revisit.

Fantastic location and accommodation. It would have been a 5 star had the beds been more comfortable.

Mains power not working. Nice developing site. Needs a toilet at least. Would come back next year.

Whether you are using the Holiday Cottages or the CL Campsite you'll have the perfect host in Bob, who is ably assisted by Trixie, Bobs constant companion..
