Liked: Location is fantastic. A lovely canal 5 minutes down the road. Walk 20 minutes either way and you come across 2 lovely pubs. Owners were very welcoming and pleasant. Can’t wait to stay again.

Disliked: Nothing really. Would love to stay longer but no shower facilities.

Liked: Nice, quiet site.
Owner was friendly.
Toilet block was clean.
Shower block will be a good asset when gets built.

Disliked: N/a as site was exactly as advertised (small, quiet, no shower facilities)

Liked: We liked that the location was 40 minutes from lIverpool and close to the coast as we visted both. The location was completely quiet and rural and only a short walk to the canal. We enjoyed walking the canal to the local pub, again it was quiet and perfect for our needs. The guests on the site were quiet. We loved that there was a local owl which always makes us feel that we have arrived in the country.

Disliked: No shower block, but we knew this.

Liked: The owner where so lovely and welcoming we pitched our tent on the small feild because are dog is very anxious around other dogs and there was some on the big feild the owners where happy with this and even brought us over a fire pit.
Theres a little area with picnic bench and sits for everybody to sit around a big fire pit which is a lovely idea. Toilets area was also very clean. Lovely little walk down the canal to the local pub.

Disliked: Noning

Liked: Quiet, clean site. Kids had a ball running around field, made use of the slide and had water fight. First time taking 2 dogs but all went well. Lovely walks down the canal. Would definitely revisit

Liked: Quiet site

Disliked: Toilets not clean - dead insects everywhere, cobwebs… Grass not cut and long. Not clear how to check in. Only one female toilet. One gents toilet cubical out of order. Door handle falling off gents toilet door. No hot water for washing up.

Liked: Really enjoyed it. Nice little field you can pitch wherever and also controlled campfire. Met the owners who were very lovely(husband and wife) it is surrounded by working farms, so waking to a cockerel was a fabulous novelty. Quiet little country lanes to wander and not far from ALL sorts. Perfect place to toast marshmallows and enjoy some peace and fresh air. No loud music and parties allowed, so the kids can sleep fine. Looking forward to using the site again. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Liked: The camp on a whole was brilliant, obviously we went in late October so the weather was abit interesting in the evenings! But the kids loved playing in the field and exploring the area around as we went on a walk. The owners were nothing but helpful throughout our stay, even when messaging to find out what the bangs were in the distance! Turns out they were bird scarred which we all found fascinating.
Would recommend.

Disliked: Nothing really to dislike as even without a shower block it didn’t alter the feel of the place.
