Excellent facilities, always clean possibly the cleanest facility that I have seen. Free wifi and room to work in is a massive bonus, running a business from this site is so simple due to there accepting and sending out deliveries. Staff are always on hand to help out no matter what the question is all these are simply why I wouldn't store anywhere else.

I have had occasion to use both the Hemel Hempstead location and lastly WGC . Both times have been very pleasant experiences .
The facilities are immaculately kept and offer 24 hr access which was a real plus for me.
I found that the price to be the best when I looked on both occasions , with there being offers available. Plus the 24hr access which didn't seem to be offered by many others.
Finally but almost as important I found the staff to be very helpful and willing to assist at all times! I recommend giving them a try!

Mainly chose this because it's the closest to where I live. Interior lighting could be better. Lifts could be better, no indication of where the lifts are so no help in choosing which one to call. When they say they are going down then don't go anywhere until you press a button. Supposed to turn left onto road when exiting so I tend to go when the traffic is quiet enough to turn right.

I have been delivering here, and picking up for some years, I may be a bit buyest, but honestly, my favourite storage company, the staff are exceptional, they go out there way to help people, they treat customers like a friend, and are honest about prices.
The facilities, offer more than enough trolleys, unlike some others, I can know that when I go in there everything is how I expect it every time, everything is fantastic, and this is why they deserve the 5 stars

Really bad experience start to finish with some of the team at this branch.

Spending nearly £5000 in storage fees only for our removers be told they could not remove our things until we had settled a 7 day notice period fee of £112. Never before had we ever been denied access until telling the staff we are leaving.
Even though mentioning we wouldn’t be renewing another month after this one, we were never told that we’d need to give a 7 day notice period and assumed just telling staff would be sufficient, I was told over the phone while our stuff was being held ransom that it needed to be via email and not verbally so that didn’t count and we would need to pay to gain access.

Wouldn’t recommend dealing with this company.

The Self Storage Company, Welwyn Garden City, fantastic team of staff, always happy, and smiling, they go the extra mile to help there customers, i have a lot of happy customers who store there items here, and feel safe to do so, plenty of trolleys, 2 lifts, any questions just ask, Cheers Phil

Had a great experience using the Self Storage Company in Welwyn. I've used a few storage companies now and this is by far the best in terms of decent lifts, friendly staff, and security. Would certainly recommend.
