Car key fob not working so called in for new battery. Unfortunately not just the battery - fob full of 'gunge' (I think because of my dogs penchant for carrying the keys from the car).
Outlook was not optimistic but left it with them. They cleaned, dried & fixed it & rang me when done.
Cost? - just a new battery (other one was 10 years old) .
Excellent service - I thought I was looking at £100 plus for a new fob.

Professional and “can do” attitude from all staff, every time I visit. Great prices compared to car dealers who over charge for keys!

One of the workers, Carl, is always courteous, well informed and will go the extra mile for customers. I can’t remember the name of the other guy but they are both a credit to the company.

I needed 3 keys cutting, so went to Timpsons as I thought they had a good reputation. I expected the keys to work and also to be served in a polite and professional manner. How wrong I was !! On the first attempt only one key worked - after the second visit one more key worked and on the third visit I was greeted in a most unfriendly and rude manner - he suggested it was my fault there were problems with the keys and reluctantly refunded the cost of the remaining key which didn't work. I was told that there was no guarantee that the keys wood work! Surely as a key cutting service the main aim is to ensure to the best of your ability that the key actually fits in the lock and opens the door - neither of which happened with the two "reject" keys. Both of these extra visits not only wasted my time and fuel but also cost me money - and I still need to have a key cut, but not at Timpsons!

Absolutley hopeless. Staff are all lacking interest and contradict each other. Shame as of good brand reputation. Instead I went to Cheshire Oaks branch, staff are all really polite and happy to help. Avoid Caldy Valley branch at all costs.

I visited Timpsons for a watch battery replacement. The manager Paul served me and was superb. He was positive, friendly, helpful, efficient and thorough. He was very fair about a double payment I accidentally made and swiftly rectified the matter, when he didn’t actually need to be so understanding. I thought it showed good strength of character. Will certainly be returning and recommending thanks to the brilliant service here.

Accidentally put my car keys through the wash and central locking failed. Ordinarily I wouldn't be concerned except this is for my pride and joy 21 year old classic.

Excessive water damage, connection damage with battery replacement for the fob. All fixed and good as new.

Great service IF you can catch them open! Repaired a screen on a mobile phone within a week at what we felt was a reasonable price. However collection wasn't easy. Each time we called there was a back in 15 mins / 30 mins/ 50 mins sign on the door. When we commented that we had called a couple of times we were told "when you work for Timpsons you can't go to the toilet!" If you need a 50 minute break at 5pm on a Saturday to open for 10 mins before closing again you may need some extra help!

We gave my husband's jacket into dry cleaners. It came back with one press studs missing. My husband took it back and was told that they would repair it, it would take three (!!!)weeks and they would not charge him extra (!!!). Oh, thank you for not charging for your own fault. Then, when my husband took it back and brought home, the new press stud button broke straight away! Will never go there again.
