I'm giving this mark based almost solely on the customer service. I was amazed at how helpful and kind the staff were. I'm currently 6.5 months pregnant and have problems with finding comfortable shoes to wear. I wouldn't normally shop in Clarks as the shoes aren't really to my taste, but I was desperate to be honest. I tried on nearly every pair in the shop and a very helpful assistant bought shoes to me, put back ones I didn't want and didn't complain or look annoyed with my constant requests to bring larger sizes and widths. He then even offered to carry my other shopping over to the tills when I had finally decided. Really impressed.

I was served by Diane yesterday, assistant number 25. She was extremely friendly and super helpful. Even though I was late for work I waited. I couldn't make a decision about the pair of boots I had tried, but decided to go back next day. There she was again, I bought the shoes and will always ask for her to assist me. She is an ANGEL! Clarks is very lucky to have such a fantastic employer. ❤️

Shoes I wanted weren't available in my size, which is fine cos I have that issue at other shops as well with half sizes. However I said I might go online as there might be discounts for students but staff said there definitely wasn't. They even asked the manager and they seemed really confident about it. I paid to get it delivered into the store and then Checked online. 15% student discount online available! I went back the next day and they said I needed to wait for the shoes to come into the store first to get a refund!!! I've wasted a lot of time because the staff were either misinformed or dishonest. I don't know which one is worst.

Staff are short, wait is long but once seen to staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

Visited today with my 81 year old father. Had his feet measured as he has swelling issues and came away with a lovely fitting soft pair. Lady who served us, Danielle according to the receipt, was brilliant, followed covid guidelines, brilliant advice and helped Dad all the way. Couldn't fault it. Dad has since said the shoes feel like he's wearing slippers!!
