My initial impression was ok as the first online order arrived in acceptable time, the quality of the boot was as expected from that particular manufacturer. A second different order was placed via their website as item was showed in stock for my size. Nearly two weeks later i received an email item out of stock!. An alternative offered which was not acceptable so after telephoning to discuss the matter. A refund was agreed for next day nothing happened an email was sent no response. After a few days i have had to take action to retrieve my payment via paypal

Such a rarity to have been given such amazing service by this retailer. I purchased slippers which were unfortunately too big for my Father, the retailer has arranged for a smaller size to be sent plus a returns label for the unsuitable pair. Will definitely use again and recommend to everyone I know.

I have experienced the same issues with this company as others who have given a review. Please beware that this company is acting dishonestly and I would even say fraudulently.
I placed an order on their website for some Mephisto shoes on 17 Nov, they took my money on 18 Nov even though they were fully aware that they would not be able to fulfill the order until late December. They sent me an email to this effect on 18 Nov. I called a few days later and they told me they were having stock issues and offered me an alternative shoe. I declined and asked them to cancel the order. They agreed to refund my money that day but to date the refund has still not been processed. It has been two weeks almost since that telephone call. Now they dont answer the phone and it goes to voicemail but they don’t call you back. They also don’t respond to emails. Luckily I paid through PayPal so I’m now going through them to get my £162 back.
Please don’t let this happen to you. If you want to buy Mephisto try their official online shop. I have also advised Mephisto of what this company is doing.

Hurrah my gorgeous Mephisto trainers have arrived and they are super. Admittedly they took a little longer than I expected to reach me, however all good things come to those who wait. Thank you Geoff, when I've saved up some money I'll certainly use Footwear 4 You again. Thank you also for your patience when I rang you a couple of times to check how my order was progressing!

I have recently bought a pair of Mephisto shoes from Footwear4You and through them, had my pair of Mephisto walking shoes sent back to the manufacturer for refurbishment.

I found the staff member to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Things happened precisely as he said they would. I would use Footwear 4 You again.

Bought Shepherd Lina leopard slippers online at best price to be found. Ordered them on Thursday evening and they arrived the following Monday nicely packed. Easy to use website and great customer service.
These are my second pair - I have worn the first pair almost every day for several years and they are still really cosy and comfortable - great product.

Agree that the staff are friendly and seem helpful when you can actually get to speak to them. However, I was a regular customer for a number of years without any problems but then started experiencing problems with refunds as other reviewers have, i.e. not receiving my money back at all despite every care to ensure that the goods returned were properly wrapped and addressed to the correct place. Surely the returned goods couldn’t all have been lost in the post? The company was difficult to get hold of in part because of my working hours and there was no telephone service on Saturdays at all. The website just said that they were very busy and refunds took a while. But the non refund of payment for returned goods happened too many times to be a coincidental so I just stopped shopping with them, I simply couldn’t afford to anymore, I felt strongly that there was some dishonest practices occurring. Loyalty should work both ways. I won't be shopping with them ever again as I don’t appreciate being treated with such distain.
