The sales adviser from SCS is really a nice gentleman. There is a cable missing when we placed the order and he personally delivered it to our house after working hours, we really appreciate that. I will give him a five stars. But today we had the most horrible sofa delivery experience. The corner of our 3 seater was totally ripped open during the delivery, from the pictures we can see how "carefully" they wrapped our sofa. And since it's a ex-display we could not buy a care plan with it, now we need to find a professional to repair our brand new broken sofa.

Minus 5 stars would be a more accurate rating! My elderly mum has been lied to, ripped off, and left with a sofa she is unable to use, was delivered late, foot coasters hanging off leaving huge scrap across her floor, no cleaning kit at extra cost! SCS solution - out of the mangers own mouth " well it was delivered to you in Feb, if you say it's still as good as new sell it on Gumtree!!!!! My told him the sofa was delivered April, he then replied, No it wasn't, we have delivery as Feb on our system!
Delivery note clearly states April! Basically called her liar and told her to do one!!!! My mum has just paid out £1400 for a sofa she can use from a better store. She's currently having to sit on a chair which her neighbour borrowed her. Absolutely disgrace

My elderly parents, one of which has Parkinsons desease and is physically impaired by this disease, visited the store to buy two new sofas. They tried different styles in the shop and found the style they liked, placed the order and took delivery of the sofa in late April. when they arrived the foam on the sofa was more firm than those in the shop and they were not able to sit comfortably on the sofas causing back pain and discomfort. So they went back to the sales person a week later to air their concern and explained their predicament and asked if the sofa could be returned. The sales person laughed at them and told to get more people to sit on it to soften the foam even though they were entitled to return the product within a 30 day period. He told them to talk to customer service as there was nothing he could do. Life takes over when you are dealing with a severe illness and so my parents spoke to customer service a few weeks later, and they sent someone out to look at the sofa a few weeks after that. The upholsterer confirmed there is nothing wrong with the sofa which they knew. as an aside the SCS upholsterer who visited my parents turned up at 7.30am which is not a good time for someone with Parkinsons disease even though my parents asked for a time as late in the morning as possible. He told my parents that customer service would be in touch with his findings. CS called back a few days later to say "everything is OK with the sofa so there is nothing they can do on this occasion". My parents and I have tried to talk to the store manager for several weeks but he is not returning calls even though CS has asked him to respond. So my parents are now stuck with £2000 sofas that they cannot use and even though they made contact with the store a week after they took receipt of the sofas, SCS are not willing to honour their own 30 day money back guarantee.

Absolutely awful experience today, firstly I’ll start by saying it is a Sunday and the store says that it shuts at 5pm, we arrived to have a quick browse at 450pm. As soon as we walked in the staff were all sat on their phones huffing and puffing that someone had walked in at that time, a lovely man came over to help us and showed us round what he thought would be suitable, after being in the shop for no more than 2 minutes a member of staff came out of his way (I’m assuming the manager!) to ask “silly question. are you actually going to buy a sofa within the next 5 minutes?” Whilst looking at his watch, well no, I’m certainly not going to now, nor will I ever return to the store again. I felt uncomfortable and like my business wasn’t important. Doors were locked by 4:55pm and all staff had left before I’d even walked back to my car. (Which was directly outside!) Horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

One of the best (if not THE best) furniture store going. The selection of sofas, carpets and furnishings was huge. It is safe to say that the moment we stepped through the doors we knew we would find the perfect sofa. Massive hats off to Jamil- the majority of salespeople could learn a lot from him. He wasn’t pushy at all with us making a decision and was so friendly and informative (where others can be quite intimidating and pressuring with added products etc). Will definitely be returning at some point for a carpet or other furniture. Thank you!

My carpet has been delivered with a fault line the whole width I have been advised that this is something that sometimes happens and it will disappear over 6 weeks. It is now 3 weeks still no sign of it disappearing. So disappointed cannot recommend Scs at all.

Kelly-Ann was absolutely amazing, very friendly and welcoming, felt like I've known her for years. Beca, Chris (I think that's his name) and all staff members I met was so friendly and welcoming, even known me by my first name. I haven't laughed so much while buying a sofa.Very friendly atmosphere, highly recommend and will definitely be going again. Can't wait for my new sofa and snug chair to be delivered.Thank you!

I was quite impressed with this store. The collection of sofas, cushions, etc is impressively varied to cater for a wide range of differences in design taste. The prices are high, though not outrageous, considering that the items I saw seemed to be of good quality
