Great shopping experience. Staff super helpful, despite my many questions! Calm, attentive and engaging, the till staff even had a little laugh about my impatient two year old making a lot of noise. Thanks for making us all feel comfortable shopping here.

Hi. I was very disappointed with sports directly Guildford because last night I did some small shopping and when I went to pay the seller was very rude did not even greet me or ask me if I want a bag and after I paid did not ask me if I want pure receipt and he simply left without saying anything. Shame. That happened last night at about 7 p.m.

Seems like training is needed or a good rev , staff are not that knowledgeable about the products there are selling, and the fitting rooms where dirty. I think a bit of guidance for the staff is needed

Best SD I have ever been. Plenty of staff available, even when the store was full, and everybody quite helpful. Free 3hs parking. Nothing like Crawley or Horsham.

All my nightmares rolled into 1. A few kids staffing the football area surrounded by annoyed parents asking for football boots in a size 6.5. Think they were hiding in the stockroom sobbing

Very rude staff, even their pretend manager did not listen to the customer. Not helpful in the slightest. Careful of the companies policies when buying something as 'not fit for purpose' is not eligible for refund apparently although statutory rights deems otherwise! For such a big company to not look at the bigger picture for the sake of £11 to appease a customer! Tells me a lot about this company.

Went in today to pick up some new gym gear, they have nothing like the selection they used to have in the old location up the road. Anyway, I went to try on a sports bra and it was attached by plastic holders that you would have to break to try it on.

I decided to buy it and take it home to try on (and return it if it didn’t fit) but I overheard a conversation, just as I paid, with a women next to me discussing returns so I asked the server how it works if I wish to return it if it doesn’t fit.

She proceeds to tell me that I can return it for store credit or a store voucher!? What on earth, so I can’t try it on because they’ve made it impossible to do so without breaking the seal and then to top it off if I want to return it I can only do so by having to find something else I want to spend £20 on in store.

I obviously said I don’t want it just in case it doesn’t fit and they refunded the money straight back on to my card, but why couldn’t they do that if I had left the store with the item and came back later? At least then there was a chance of an actual sale if the item did fit.

Really ridiculous return policy and I won’t be using them again.
