Runners Need Port Solent

As you can see from the posts below Chris is excellent. He gave clear, relevant and concise feedback on shoes, running technique and adaptation to training. Saying that if we don’t all get PBs in the ParkRun tomorrow all stars will be removed!!

My husband went in to look for a new pair of trainers. Olly the customer assistant was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Needless to say, I have one happy husband with a pair of Hoka trainers.

Retrospectively I was sold the wrong shoe and poorly advised. I'm not wearing the shoes advised on hoka website. Had I bought the shoes on the Hoka website I could return them but that's not available through runners need so clearly buy your shoes elsewhere.

The lady was lovely. Really knew what she was talking about. Helped me and my wife get new trainers. Didn't feel like we were being sold to but really advised

Great shop in an easy to park location. Large store over 2 floors. Upper floor for running.

I try to spend money here but they make it impossible. I’ve visited several times but the staff situation makes it impossible to buy. There is never enough help and you have to go looking for it because they are certainly not proactive. I did actually manage to find someone today who forgot what she had gone for but then came back with the sting shoes anyway. She then spotted a far more interesting customer and abandoned. Once again, have given up and found online.

Brilliant service! I booked an appointment for gait analysis and the member of staff was really friendly and helpful, explaining how it worked and what he recommended. I was amazed to see and feel the difference from trying different pairs of trainers on the treadmill, and I'm really encouraged that I've found a pair that will help prevent injury. I wouldn't have had a clue what I was looking for if I'd bought something online, so I'm really glad I came into the shop and had such great advice on what I needed.
