I really like this store as it maybe quite small, but I have always found it to have every book, magazine & map that I have needed.

It is split onto two floors with the books upstairs, & downstairs has all the magazines, cards & stationary you could possibly want plus more, & there is also a Post Office at the back of the store, whilst the front where you pay for your goods has two self serve machine in case the queues are quite large, staff seem nice too.

Situated in the main high street, this has to be one of W H Smiths flag ships, the building alone is beautiful, go upstairs and your see how the roof has been restored back to its former beauty. The shop is a large with an excellent kids section.

Lots of choice

They didn't have any advent calendars a few days into December. What is this?! Aside from that this shop is great and the staff are helpful. Would like it if the upstairs was a bit more accessible.

First time in this shop since the re-fit and I must say that I was quite impressed with the place. The shop was clean, tidy, bright, more open plan, easier to move about then before and generally well organised. My only gripes are that the range isn't what it used to be plus I would like to see some indiviudality in terms to what is stocked between branches. Would recommend shopping here for any stationery, book, art or card purchases.

Very big WH Smith with a busy post office attached. I would say one of the busiest shops on the high street by far. It has a good selection of books, magazines and stationery to suit all needs. Good variety of greeting cards for all occasions. Always handy to pop in when in a hurry during lunch and be served by smiling staff. What I liked especially about this store was the nice staff and how clean it is inside it was immaculate but just gets too busy at times especially the post office.

Went to the post office was served by Pam, thought she was only doing travel money as that's what was above her head. Obviously that's on me and she was helpful with the information she gave but she was really rude and sarcastic
