The shop, although big with a lot of products, seems a bit chaotic. Books didn't seem to have any particular order to their placement and staffing seemed a little sparse. Tills were also oddly difficult to place at first as well. one thing I do like (and the only reason for my visit) is that you can pick up cheap/free products with o2 Priority. A good way to draw in customers.

Large store, has everything you could need, even including a Travel Agent and a Costa Coffee. I've always found the staff helpful and polite. Also has a cash machine outside.

Really nice store in Exeter with a great selection of books, magazines, stationary and craft stuff.

Friendly staff who are happy to help if you cannot find what your looking for.

Lovely coffee shop located at the back of the store leading onto Queen Street.

They do have a good choice in store. As well as books, stationery and games, they also sell jigsaws, greetings cards, art and craft products, storage, magazines and chocolate.
Exeter post office is also situated within this store.

On entering the store I thought how low key the lighting was. Potential energy saving?

I want to give real praise however for the 'amazing ' selection of greetings cards. Its been a long time since I have found exactly what suited the particular occasion so quickly with a terrific choice.

Don’t ask where anything is unless you want your head bitten off 👍🏻 Waste of time

I hope this gets noticed, I overheard one staff member anxiously talking about how she didn’t have a break yet. I like the polite staff service I get here and they have always been helpful over the years, but I often see just one person manning tills so maybe hire more staff? This also applies to post office which often has long lines.

This is a 5 star review specifically for the lovely chap with short hair and glasses who is usually on the central tills, every time I’ve been in for the last few months I’ve either been helped by him or seen him doing his best to help others, and he’s always so lovely and polite! I forgot to check his name but with so few staff working there atm hopefully it’s obvious who I mean.
